Trump is above the 40 percent mark, guess the media will say “Well there is 58 percent of people who won’t vote for him” LOL. I don't think he does, but between the three remaining GOPe candidates, there is a hope that their plurality will keep Trump from getting enough delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot. It seems to me that the GOPe is, and always has been, "screw the country it's ours to do with whatever we want." So they may be perfectly o.k. with turning the country over to Hillary if it means retaining control of the Republican Party power levers.

There is no viable route to the nomination for either Teddy Bear or Cabana Boy. n Mathematically, it’s over. Too early to pop the champagne, but it’s over.

Unless the GOPe declares martial law (i.e., brokered convention) and nominates someone other than Trump. At that point, the party will fracture; the GOPe may be insane enough that fracturing the party doesn’t bother them.

I think all of this talk about a brokered convention is just the latest version of denial.

He won’t get in -> He won’t file financials -> He’s hit his ceiling -> ... -> We’ll stop him at the convention.
