Despite conventional wisdom that he is not electable, Donald Trump is leading Hillary Clinton by two percentage points in the crucial battleground state of Ohio, says a new Quinnipiac poll.

No Republican has ever captured the White House without taking Ohio. Trump out polled Clinton 44 percent to 42 percent.

FL and OH always seem to have the most reports of vote fraud, despite Republican Gov and SoS.

I suspect Trump would have a lot of folks involved in monitoring this.

"Overall, Clinton fared even worse when pitted against other top GOP contenders. Senator Marc Rubio (R-FL) topped her 47 percent to 42 percent. Senator Ted Cruz polled 46 percent to Hillary’s 43 percent. Ohio Governor John Kasich is ahead of Hillary 54 percent to 37 percent in his home state. He scored 19 percentage points higher against Senator Bernie Sanders (D-VT)."

Trump hasn’t even started on Hitlery. Wait until he rolls out everything he has been gathering over the past year. It will be an onslaught....but he first has to tell Hitlery that he will respect everything feminism stands for and treat her no different than he would a male opponent.

It’s tough to get a read on OH. It isn’t a place with parts that are connected in any way.

I’ve heard Ohio described as being over a thousand cities and towns, spread across hundreds of miles of landscape, and being diverse. There are big cities, numerous small towns, and great expanses of farm country. There are also big areas of industrial activity and coal mining in southeastern Ohio. All in all, a hard state to pigeon hole. And part of why it’s often a swing state in presidential elections.

Hopefully we see the Democratic frontrunner led from a building in handcuffs.
That should also further boost poll ratings for our four or five candidates.

Go Donald Trump! Go Ted Cruz! Beat Hillary Clinton!

From the article: Overall, Clinton fared even worse when pitted against other top GOP contenders. Senator Marc Rubio (R-FL) topped her 47 percent to 42 percent. Senator Ted Cruz 97% (R-TX) polled 46 percent to Hillary’s 43 percent. Cruz and even Rubio are better positioned in Ohio than Trump. If Kasich got out of the mix, their numbers would be even higher.

well, it’s still 8 months to the general election. Things can change.

But then, just heard Michael Medved say that Trump loses big to Hillary in various polls, while any other Republican will beat Hillary.

I guess you can cherry pick any polls you want to prove any point.

Also, remember that running mates can impact the election.

If Kasich becomes the VP nominee, for example, that could help pull Ohio into the Republican column. He won a landslide reelection in Ohio, a state which voted for Obama twice.

If Hillary picks HUD secretary Castro as her running mate, then the media will have a mediagasm about the great diversity of the Democrat ticket. And contrast against a GOP ticket of two white men.

And perhaps such a pick would incite some excitement on the Democrat side and change the dynamics of things.

LOL. but on a serious note, have heard many times that men in particular have a bad reaction to Hillary, as she reminds divorced men of their ex wives. Primal reactions to people can influence how they vote in elections. Just saying.......

The Cleveland/Akron/Canton region, SE Ohio (to a lesser degree), pockets of Cincinnati, the McLin contingent in West/North Dayton, and other places that heavily lean left.
