2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney will be delivering a major speech Thursday denouncing Donald Trump.
FORMER RNC CHAIRMAN MICHAEL STEELE: I don't know why they think this is going to work in the first place. I don't know who they think this is going to influence.Keep in mind, Mitt Romney lost 3 million Republicans, who didn't even bother to show up and vote for him because they did not support his campaign.

Well, OK! Check this site and see if you can find any disparaging words I've made toward Cruz. I haven't. I was pushing for a Trump/Cruz ticket.
So, unless you'd like to tone down your rhetoric toward those of us who are backing Trump, this will continue! (The pissing match, that is!)
am unfamiliar with Berry
Earlier this week McConnell stated the GOPe did not mind Hillary as President and they preferred her to trump.
They will do ANYTHING to stop Trump or Cruz and they do not care if their candidate loses in the General Election.
What are the idiots thinking by trotting out MITT ROMNEY to placate and influence voters who are well and truly ticked off with the Insider Establishment RINOs?
Beat me to it.
Arsenio and I agree, for once.
Thanks!
I do think that if the GOPe expects a sudden tide of support for Mitt Romney they're probably the same people who thought Yeb! was a good idea. It isn't going to work that way.
Eh, interesting point for Trump to repeat: I’m a businessman, not a lawyer.
How about this fact:
65,915,796 people voted AGAINST Romney in 2012.
Trump is pulling in a lot of them. At least around my neck of the woods. (Western New York).
As a point of basic manners, not policies.
I agree that Trump still has a lot of work to do, but, listening to him talk today about Romney’s “fail” toward the end, in 2012, I think he “gets” that. Trump supporters need to understand THEY have a lot of work to do too, and insulting people they might be able to win over is not smart at all.
I’m not totally in for Trump, but am leaning far enough now that the last couple days I’ve voted in the FR caucus. Trump has plenty of warts, but I think he can do some good if his base holds his feet to the fire, and if he uses his base to hold the (hopefully) GOP Congress’ feet to the fire.
Then again, I could just be asking politely because the way things have been going around here recently, esp. with my parents, a blessing for me and mine sounds pretty good! ;-)
FORMER RNC CHAIRMAN MICHAEL STEELE: I don't know why they think this is going to work in the first place. It will influence every warm-feeling-up-the-leg-RINO who attacks Michael Steele instead of rejecting Mitt Romney.
Not off topic at all. Are you really in favor of Michael Steele? Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, so what?
I wouldn’t necessarily give him much credit for any of that. The people wanted change with or without Steele.
Good for Steele!
I think this is the first time I have agreed with a post of yours in this race but that is quite precisely correct. Romney is an ultimate evil. His opposition to Trump is a magnificent foundation for conservatives to consider Trump. If Trump were not somewhat good, Romney would not attack him.
Good to hear. Cruz has alot of good qualities but he’s up to his eyeballs in donor class money. Glad we can agree. FRegards.
By all means, may God bless you and yours!
And may God bless you and yours!
Bob Dull has already blessed Marco, but some may not have heard or even remember who Bob is.
