My whole life, up until yesterday, has been based on reaction to fear.
Growing up as a black man in Washington D.C. during the “crack 80’s”, when Marion Barry was mayor, I lived a lower middle class childhood in one of the most dangerous cities in America. Though I had many friends, I was also subject to the threats, intimidation, and bullying that happens when you’re not like the people around you.
Last night, you also did something else. You became the Man that helped me see fear for what it is: an illusion of power, a powerful teacher, and the path to winning if used properly. There is no reason, regardless of the enormity of the task, to lose to fear if you prepare well, are disciplined in your execution, and have the faith necessary, in God, yourself, and in others…that leads to victory.
Winning is always possible, but becomes probable if you never back down, never quit, and become your dominant self. Once the battle is won, treat the vanquished with kindness and respect. Be the bigger man.
You taught me how to Win.

Did you notice how rotten Cruz was in return?——not one word of congratulations to Trump-—nothing but vitrol from the moment he opened his lying mouth-—what slime we have representing what are no longer the United States of America——I am almost ashamed of my sevice time in WW2 to save my country for these lowdown liars in charge——then I think of all my friends, shipmates and those who died believing in something bigger than themselves-=-God will decide this mess-—that gives me the will to go on——
Thank you for your service! There are way more people that CARE about their freedom then don’t.

My parents are buried in Arlington, (Dad flew B-29’s over Japan). As much as I miss them, I am grateful they are not here to see what our beloved country has become.
Thank you for giving your youth to preserve our future.

Basically, Trump has outed Cruz and Rubio as flawed characters. They are a both Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde scenario definitely not of the evangelical cloth.
I can tell you that 90% of real conservatism is the kind that is a doer and not a talker. It is the kind of conservatism that is out in the slugging it out.
Fake conservatism is the kind that is 90% talk where there is very little risk. It is the kind of conservatism that hides behind the pen or the radio microphone and lectures to people how they should be living their lives. This latter conservatism is what has failed the country.
I’ll stick with Trump. He is taking massive risks and they are real but this man is all talent on so many levels.
I was going to ask the poster who said that people like Troy could not possibly be articulate what he meant by :people like Troy.” Thankfully the moderator deleted his post because I really did not like where it was going.
And guess who this is?
