After my attack on activist and environmental journalist Mark Lynas, I thought I’d test the waters with Tom Chivers who is a science editor at Buzzfeed.
Chivers has been a nemesis of mine since my days at the Telegraph. A likeable, good natured nemesis – but an irritant nonetheless. It's bloody annoying when you're a seasoned hack breaking stories like Climategate showing alarmists to be a bunch of lying charlatans and you’ve got some dogged progressive fresh out of 'uni' in the neighbouring pages, brandishing his science degree like it automatically trumps your Oxford arts degree, explaining patiently, goodnaturedly, passively aggressively that there’s this thing called the "science" and that what the "science" shows is that global warming is real, regardless of what some batshit crazy conspiracy theorist from the bad old days when the Telegraph was conservative might say.

One thing about Progressives that I have to admire. They never give up. If it takes em 100 years and they lose all their fights, they keep going until they win one.

Cosmic rays were measured at an all time high back in 2009 because of the Solar minimum on your chart. Exploding stars create highly energetic cosmic rays which the Sun’s magnetic field deflects away from our solar system. According to the Chilling Stars theory, highly energetic cosmic radiation seed clouds in our atmosphere which cools the Earth.
The global alarmists have decades of bad science which have failed to explain the measured data, but the Chilling Stars guys are nailing it. Eventually if the data keeps matching their theory we can quit worrying about the hacks running around chanting climate deniers because they will be viewed as failed scientists.

Yup. If they are losing an argument, to them it just means that they have not sufficiently propagandized the children enough.
They’re as much the offspring of nineteenth century neo-pagan romanticism, Wagner, the “Noble Savage”, Rousseau and all that tripe, as the Nazis. They see humanity (except themselves, of course) as an unnatural and disposable inconvenience.
Worse is their knowledge that the Right will do NOTHING to correct what is known to be wrong/false/Socialist in the ‘go along to get along’ ideal.
And some wonder why I want the stupid party to die, die, DIE already; a DT win might actually do it. WHOLE lot of heads ‘ploding if that were to happen.

‘Global Warming’ or ‘Anthropogenic Global Whatever’ is not a scientific arguement, no matter what terms it is couched in.
‘Anthropogenic Global Whatever’is the Original Sin of Gaia worship, the religion of choice of the Transnational Progressives, ak ‘Tranzis.’ The argument for them is not a scientific one, but a religious one, and they will not tolerate heretics or unbelievers.
Obviously tough to make a detailed assessment here but preliminary verdict is NOT GUILTY...
