Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says the Republican Party may be forced to support presidential hopeful Ted Cruz in order to stop front-runner Donald Trump.
"You know Ted Cruz is not my favorite, by any means,” Graham, who dropped his own bid for the White House in December, said in an interview with CBS. “But we may be in a position where we have to rally around Ted Cruz as the only way to stop Donald Trump, and I'm not so sure that would work.” His comments came with Super Tuesday results indicating Trump would win as many as eight states. They also came a week after Graham joked, “If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody could convict you.”
Graham has been a tough critic of both Trump or Cruz. He once said that choosing between the two would be "like being shot or poisoned. I think you get the same result, whether it's quick or it takes a long time."

If Trump isn’t responsible for David Duke’s endorsement, Cruz isn’t responsible for Linda’s.
They are terrified Trump and Ted will bury the hatchet.

Nope. Graham is Cruz’s colleague. Trump has no association at all with David Duke.
It’s clear career politican and former Bush admin official Cruz is being called home to the GOPe. Sorry.

Anyone shocked that the Cruz guy happily takes the GOPe assist?
And then ends with a snobby swipe at people’s intelligence?
Going back to Iowa it’s clear Cruz is a win at all costs candidate. Principles be darned. If that means shacking up with Graham and the GOPe he will do it in a New York minute.
When Lindsey comes out for you, you’re in serious trouble.
Lindsay Graham thinks Clinton can beat Cruz and lose the 2018 primary with fraud and other tricks against little guy ted.

Trump was gracious to Cruz tonight in his speech. In return Cruz basically spit in his face with his reading Trump’s mind talking point list of lies. Contrast was striking.
