Rep. Steve King: GOP Establishment Could Back Hillary if Trump or Cruz Wins Nomination
Breitbart ^ | John Hayward

Posted on 03/01/2016 9:58:16 PM PST by ObamahatesPACoal

Congressman Rep. Steve King (R-IA) 79% appeared on Breitbart News Daily Tuesday morning to support Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% in today’s crucial primary elections and to warn that the GOP Establishment is determined to punish Trump and Cruz supporters, and they could even tacitly get behind Hillary Clinton as someone “they can do business with” if Cruz or Trump wins the nomination.

Have they NOT been backing Hillary, al Qaeda and the IRS
over the American People.

The 110% complicit GOP is EVIL, LIARS, and CORRUPT.

Anyone trashing Steve King needs to understand that he is pointing out the perfidy of the GOP-e, not advocating it. (And maybe they also need to pause and consider that Steve King from western Iowa ought not be confused with Peter King from Long Island). While I don't agree with him on everything, Steve King is definitely not part of the problem in this instance.

And Lindsey Graham says that the GOPe needs to rally round Cruz to try to save itself - I’m stronger for Trump than ever with those type comments from those type “representatives”....

The GOPe s a wing of the DC Uni-Party, along with th DNC and MSM. Hitlery is the Uni-Party candidate. The GOPe’s mission is to provide a sacraficial loser for the November “elections”.

It was supposed to be JEB!. Now it is Numbnuts Rubio.

A sitting GOP U. S. Senator is saying he will not support Trump in the general.
Which U.S. senator?

Sasse from Nebraska. Making a big drama about it to. It’s all kabuki.

Very confusing. If I didn’t know the Steve King is a principled conservative decrying the establishment for their willingness to do business with Clinton, I too would have thought he was in favor of it.

Ben Sasse of Nebraska. More of these will start to come out in attempt to stop Trump.

Then the GOP would be violating “the pledge” and Mr. Trump would be free to respond. Could be a long night down ticket for the GOP if Trump tells his supporters (half the GOP base) to only vote for those GOPers who endorse him.

imp,
half the peeples on this site now lack basic reading comprehension skills.

It seems that Trump will face little difficulty in ILL on 3-15. Winner take all .... Seems Cruz will be his main opponent.

I believe there will be leaders that will publicly disavow Trump prior to the convention. If Trump gets the nomination these folks will shut their traps.

So the GOPe finally takes off their mask and reveals what we’ve known for years, that they are in cahoots with the Rats, and we truly have a Uniparty.

I can't remember a time when they've been this honest about it, except perhaps when Pat Buchanan won the NH GOP primary and set off a panic among the party establishment.

Usually the RNC party hacks at least try to put on a fig leaf to hide the fact that they have more in common with establishment Democrats than with anti-establishment Republicans (populists, Tea Party types, and libertarians). That way they can keep up the charade of offering voters a "choice" when they run candidates like Bush, McCain, and Romney as fake "alternatives" to Clinton-style Democrats. Now they aren't even bothering with the charade.
