Houston, Texas – The single most important day of the Republican primary season. That’s today, Super Tuesday, according to Ted Cruz, and if he gets his way, it’s also the day the contest will narrow to a two-man race and allow him to square off directly with Donald Trump. After casting his vote in Texas’s primary at Houston’s West Gray Community Center, Cruz told reporters that after 11 states go to the polls today, he and Trump will shoot ahead in the delegate race. “I think tomorrow morning you’re going to see a clear choice with two candidates both with a big chuck of delegates and the remainder of the candidates with very very few,” he said. Cruz’s attention remains focused on rival Marco Rubio, and he essentially called Rubio and the rest of his challengers to drop out of the race. “To get to the nomination you need 1,237 delegates. And so I will say for any candidate who wakes up tomorrow morning who has not won any states, for any candidate who wakes up tomorrow morning who has a negligible number of delegates, I think it’s time to start thinking about coming together and unifying and presenting a clear choice,” he said.

Rubio needs to drop out right along with Carson and Kasich. Rubio cant even win his own state much less any others.

As long as Rubio keeps putting Cruz in 3rd, he should be asking Cruz.

Rubio’s said similar things to Cruz, I believe. Drowning men standing on each other’s shoulders.

Absolutely. If speculation is true that the Governor of Florida is endorsing Trump this evening (just in time for the news cycle), then watch the narrative on Super Tuesday election coverage.
"Wolf, both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have called on Senator Rubio to get out of the race. His own governor has endorsed Mr. Trump. Senator Rubio STILL hasn't won a state. What is the rationale for him staying in the race?"
Oh, I hope that happens.

Would you rather have a President that was attacked by the IRS because the Establishment did not like him?
or
Would you want a candidate that uses IRS as a weapon, says people are guilty with no evidence, but claims he is a Constitutionalist?
Think about it.

GOPE in their stupidity will believe the big winner of Super Tuesday should drop out. It really is the stupid party.

Trump is a leader. Cruz hides until he knows it’s safe to copy Trump’s ideas.

I’m sure Karl Rove will be telling us how Rubio won tonight even though he lost.

Worse thing that could happen to Trump is for Rubio and the rest of the dead weight drop out and Trumpetts know it.

Yep and Cruz uses the IRS to go after his enemies. Oh but he is a Constitutionalist!..../s

I’m guessing Cruz wins Texas by a few points, but finishes third everywhere else ... if Rubio finishes second everywhere ... he has a greater claim to that second spot on the two man race.
