"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

" Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." - John Quincy Adams

I don’t think Cruze means to lie— he has just been trained as a lawyer to play with words to make his case..

Sometimes when people lie, they are called liars.

I agree, he is much more than just a congenital liar, he is a sleazy, very creepy, religiously deluded, fringe Nut.

Yes it's crazy. In past elections, because of PC rules, no one would openly call a liar, a liar. Thanks to Trump, PC is sooooo yesterday and Cruz IS a liar.

As accusations of dishonesty have flown between Trump, Cruz and Rubio, voters say they are more apt to see Trump as honest and trustworthy. Asked who of the five candidates is most honest and trustworthy,
35% name Trump
22% Carson
14% Cruz
13% Rubio

Showing Video One with Trump saying One Thing

PLUS

Showing Video Two with Trump saying The Exact Opposite

EQUALS

Cruz is a liar
.................................................................................................

The above example of “reasoning” displayed by Trump’s mesmerized supporters mystifies me.

Welch is a good man and has principles.

Such things are largely irrelevant in this day and age, however.

As a Conservative he’s fine, but as a campaigner he blew it. I don’t believe he’s a liar, but I think he went on the attack against Trump and got himself into a fight he wasn’t ready for, when his best strategy would have been to stick to the issues.

I am disgusted by some here on FR defaming Cruz with half stories & innuendo.
He has been one of the few bright spots for conservatism the past few years.
I understand liking one candidate over another but impugning Cruz with ‘liar liar’ is low class.

This seems to be the same CEO who was a big proponent of outsourcing American jobs to cheap labor countries (i.e. India)— certainly not a popular stance this election.

Yes,

Trump’s whole campaign is a lie:
In Campaign: says he for buiding a wall
Before campaign: Critisied Romney for being to tough on immigration, hired illeagals to build Trump tower.

In Campaign: Against Iraq war
Before Campaign: For Iraq war

In Campaign: Against Obamacare but still praised socialized systems of Canada and Sweden.
Before Campaign: For Socialized health-care systems

List can go on and on, I don’t think there is one policy issue Trump has campaigned on where his pre-campaign views matched his rhetoric.

Yet a lot of people are falling for it, so I got to give him credit, it worked for Obama, looks like it will work for Trump also.
