Racism reportedly runs in the family, when it comes to the Trump Klan.
Trumps late father, Fred Trump, was arrested following a Ku Klux Klan riot in Queens in 1927, according to a bombshell report that further suggests unusual ties between the 2016 front-runner and the notorious white supremacist group.
Fred Trump Sr. was among seven men arrested following a May 30, 1927 brawl between members of the KKK and the New York Police Department, according to The Washington Post, which unearthed news articles from the June 1, 1927 edition of The New York Times.
The elder Trumps role in the brawl was unclear, The Post reported, and there is no proof in the report that he was a member of the KKK.

Thank you for the link ... this is exactly why the SCOTUS ruling in NY Times Co. v. Sullivan (1969) needs to be reversed! This is the exact kind of libel that should be held liable to prosecution in the courts. This erroneous ruling is exactly why the 5th column of the government gets away with that which the founding fathers thought they ought NOT get away with.

“What were Senator Al Gore seniors politucal activities in 1927?”
When he was on the payroll of Lenin’s friend Armand Hammer?
Trump has two Jewish grandkids and his daughter converted.
Also, they think playing the race card on Trump right before 2 weeks of southern voting is going to help what? Him win?
The MSM is in absolute insane meltdown mode.
4 years of President Trump will give them time to get over it.
We’ve all had to put up with 8 years of Obama.
They’ll get used to it.
Winning! Trump 16!
LOL! Wow talk about desperation to smear someome.
1927.... Nice try
The Nazis were popular in New York City too.
Absolute pathetic attempt.
When my grandfather was a little boy in the late 1800s he witnessed a race riot in his town in rural California. Folks drove the Chinese out of the Chinatown there and then burned it down. When my grandfather was interviewed for his oral history in the 1950s he recounted this but did not expressly condemn it and say it was exclusionary, racist, intolerant and a symptom of white privilege.
That makes me a racist.
Yeah, it’s silly and JimRob pulled a thread on this yesterday. I’m sure wouldn’t be happy to see pop up again.
"Read the link the poster provided in his comment."
Heh.
Trump will be tagged as a shapeshifting alien next if this smear doesn’t work.
He’s not KKK; he’s a garden variety conman, more like the Kingfish. Also, I think a more interesting thing to consider is he going senile. His speeches are great examples of logorrhea. He repeats himself and seems completely unaware that he contradicts himself. Naturally, his supporters don’t see this.
All but you. How nice to point that out.
Obviously Fred Trump was not a KKK member.
A quote from the referenced article from post #1
“So what Fred Trump, the American was standing for, was Justice for two dark skinned Italian Americans, who most people thought were animals and treated as such, who had been murdered by communists in America.
As Fred Trump was not Ku Klux Klan in any evidence in the least, it is connect the dots reality, that he was in this march, saw the Irish Catholics start beating the hell out of these Protestants and stepped in for Justice in keeping some Citizen from having his head cracked open by a police billy club, and that is how Fred Trump ended in custody.”
You left out that he’s responsible for the heartbreak of psoriasis too.
Or, maybe you're dead wrong and you're just missing out on an historically important and beneficial political phenomenon.
Maybe 75% of FR members didn't become stupid overnight. Maybe they have looked at the situation objectively and opted for a candidate who they think can make real progress at making America great again, even if he's a far-from-perfect man. All men are flawed, by the way. We could do much, much worse, and I'm not at all sure we could do better.
That's what the Trump-haters just don't get: the guy has plenty of flaws. However, among them are not things such as 1) moving this coutry in the wrong direction, 2) not loving his country, 3) an inability to lead men, 4) fighting with passion, intensity and energy, 5) rolling over for the opposition, 6) failing to candidly face the real problems we face, and 7) being political correct. And that's just for starters.
Trump's various flaws are clear for all to see.
But notwithstanding these flaws, it should be obvious to the densest voter that Donald Trump is the only candidate that can lead a strong majority of the nation into making America great again.
Those who flippantly dismiss Donald Trump and think he's just a huckster and a fraud are either being disingenuous, hysterically emotional, or both. Furthermore, they are disregarding his positive policies.
In broad strokes, which are the ones that matter as far as the direction the country is going, Donald Trump is outlining important steps we need to take regarding the important issues of our time.
Is Trump right about everything? Certainly not. But he can assemble a winning demographic coalition in a way that no other current GOP candidate can even dream of.
Look at the enthusiasm disparity between Democrat and GOP voter turnout. It's profound. And Donald Trump is widening the enthusiasm gap every day.
Stand aside, there's a tsunami coming. Either get out a surfboard or run for the hills, because it won't be stopped by any amount of vitriol, lies, or propaganda.
It's going to be fun watching Hillary go down in flames this November.
Having said all that, I really feel that Trump is doing as well as he's doing in spite of himself. If he "cleaned up his act", so to speak, his appeal would be truly astronomical.
New Gingrich recently asserted that Donald Trump is learning every day. We all must hope that he continues to do so. We need to see more graciousness, more attention to the issues, less pettiness, and less ego and conceit from Donald Trump.
If Trump plays his cards anything approaching intelligently, he will win the Presidency in a Reaganesque landslide. If not, it's going to be a tough slog.
I sincerely hope that some of these people whose endorsements Trump is picking up will also help advise him going forward. If Trump fails to act more wisely, his path to success will be much more difficult, and could become impossible.
If Trump truly aims to be the leader of this nation by serving the People, he will have to adopt a much more gracious and humble attitude, while still preserving his passion, strength, and confidence.
It's going to be very interesting to see how much more he can grow after he sows up the GOP nomination.
One thing for sure is that, regardless of the standard-bearer, there is nothing more important for the American People than to have the Washington Establishment of both parties shaken to its very core. Nothing.
At this point, anybody who doesn't realize this must be too invested in their own ideological purism. This isn't going to be an ideological election. The election of Reagan wasn't an ideological election either, which is why he was able to build such a large voting coalition.
Trump is no Ronald Reagan. He's his own person. But his Presidency could be as effective and refreshing as Reagan's.
Go Trump! Let's get this nomination process over with, and let the focus turn to the real fraudulent candidate of this election, Hillary Rodham Clinton...
“What were Senator Al Gore seniors politucal activities in 1927?”
He was knocking boots with Stalin! Or it was a “threesome with Armand Hammer!
Impressive. I wish I was that smart. Thanks.
“A lot of people I once thought were smart are being flimflammed by this guy.”
Applies to Cruz as well!
That old story is BS. Is this all they can come up with?
And how many members of the democratic party have or had Klan affiliations?
How many fathers of current democrat politicians were in Ku Klux Klan?
I want to see some research on this, some one post a list.
