If indeed you know that JR and the mod staff is going to impose a policy that there is to be no dissent or questioning of Trump, his plans, policies or hair on Free Republic because he is King Inevitable, have them post that policy on the Main so we do not miss the announcement and we make sure we abide by the new rules and take our leave of a former Conservative site.

My belief is that most of the Ted Cruz supporters now we’re never really Ted Cruz supporters to begin with. They were and are anti Trump because at heart they support the GOP.

I think this people are only willing to stand up to cast a ballot. I do not think they are willing to do what it will actually take to stop an entrenched tyranny, but they WILL want a king to do things they demand because the Constitution limits the ability to do what most of them think Trump is going to accomplish by decree.

This entire election circus has proven to me beyond any shadow of doubt that freedom and the Constitution are as good as dead in this country.
This nation is hopelessly divided between more than half a population that want a Marxist dictatorship and the rest who want a populist king that they loft all their hopes for change upon.
Separation of powers? Screw it. We want a king who will build walls by the power of his charisma or give us free shite while punishing anyone who dares oppose them.
Such a people and such a country are not capable of maintaining liberty in any capacity beyond a strong leader they think will do their bidding to impart revenge on the half of the population they hate.

The executive branch (the president) is responsible for the execution of the nation's laws. Failure to do so is a dereliction of duty. Doing so does not make a president a tyrant or dictator.
Obama is both a derelict and a tyrant. He refuses to enforce real laws, and fabricates his own laws out of thin air.
Few people expect Trump to be anything more than human, with whatever shortcomings that entails. Here is what makes him different from every other candidate of either party:
Trump is the only candidate of either party even pretending to represent the citizens of the USA.
Every other candidate is fully bought and paid for by the corrupt donor self-anointed elite scumbags.
