Caption these two photos, and while you're thinking about them, take time to enjoy some of these lighthearted "Teddy-Links" (not "Tiddlywinks"!), and see if your smile machine is still working.

Caption this sofa photo.

Teddy Links

- Teddy's future career plans after he loses.  (youtube)

- Teddy tries in vain to get an affectionate hug and kiss from his daughter.  (youtube)

- Here's Teddy sharing his fondest dreams when he was a young man.  (youtube)

- A "Teddy-sound-alike" nasal twang.  (youtube)

- Another "Teddy-sound-alike" nasal twang.  (youtube)

- And yet another "Teddy-sound-alike" nasal twang.  (youtube)

- Some "Teddy-sound-alike" nasal honks.  (youtube)

- Teddy displays his "genuine sincerity", "candid authenticity", and "honest integrity".  (youtube)

- Google search - 'The effeminate Ted Cruz'  (Google)

Are you referring to Ellen DeGeneres?  (I don't watch her show, so I'm not sure.)

"But to tear down all of the people who have carried the conservative standard for decades (Rush, Levin, Sowell, et al.) is foolish in the extreme. When you've burned down all of the other trees in the forest in order to protect yours, where will you shelter when the winds come?"

So you think it is okay for Rush and Levin and Sowell to tear down and rip to shreds one candidate, and express support for another candidate, but it is not okay for anyone else to strongly disagree with them?

If/when they make mistakes (like when expressing things when they are suffering from addiction to drugs, or when they somehow failed to mention a little conflict of interest in their rantings), you don't think others should point those grievous mistakes out to them?

And if others simply disagree with those public radio or written word political pundits, you think they should not express their disagreement with those pundits?   Do you think they are always right, and never wrong?

Hillary will beat Trump.

She already has the 40 to 45% of the vote that will go democrat no matter what..

She will have media support. The Fox News Channel all of you hate will be the only people against her.

You will be crawling back to Rush and Levin begging them to love you again.

Trump is despised by everyone except his disciples. New damning information comes out on him every day and you can believe Hillary will use it.

A lot of people who can’t stand either one of them will opt out of voting.

Hillary will be in.

The original post of this thread is just two real, genuine photos, and some youtube video links, and Google search links.   What article are you referring to?

Show me where Rush has torn down any candidate. Show me where he has endorsed any candidate. Seriously, show me! He has been very careful not to do so, as he will eventually support whoever the primary winner is (as always). The vitriol directed at Rush in particular is specifically because he won't tear down the candidates other than Trump, and because he dares to mention Trump's negatives along with the negatives of the other candidates. This isn't a case of "Rush is attacking Trump" and you know it! The attacks on Rush have been because he refuses to favor Trump. And that's the stupidity in action here: tear them all down in order to protect one candidate...

Just listen to his show, or go to his website and read.

Pay particularly close attention to what he includes and what he leaves out when he is quoting Trump, when he is quoting Cruz, and when he is quoting Rubio.   If you can't detect the slanting he is putting on his words, then I can't help you.

but I believe the much preferable thing would be for you to confine yourself to deciding what you should post, and let everyone else decide for themselves what they should post.

At least he isn't as insane as the nutjob who announced that he had paid to post anything he wanted on FR...

If you can't detect the slanting he is putting on his words, then I can't help you.

In other words, you can't. It's all coded talk, eh? He hasn't jumped on board with your cult of personality, so he's the enemy now. Tear them all down, so that, win or lose, conservatism will be knee-capped for generations. Brilliant plan there, Moriarty.

You want to practice interpreting slant? Try looking through the various posts on FR about the candidates this year and cataloging how many use emotional rhetoric instead of argumentation. How many are based in feeling rather than rationality? Liberals feel, conservatives think... or at least they used to...

"The Cruz hatred is thick on Free Republic."

What part of the original thread involves "hate" in your thinking?

First, there are two genuine, real photos of your candidate Cruz, one with Glenn Beck, and the other with Cruz shaking hands with Rubio during one of the breaks at the debate the other night.   Do those real, genuine, undoctored photos equate to hate in your mind?   Do you think those real, genuine photos of your guy Cruz should be hidden and suppressed, and never shared with anyone?   If so, why?

Next, there is a youtube video made by your guy Cruz.   Do you believe that video Cruz made involves hatred?  Do you believe that video should be hidden and suppressed?

Next, there is a youtube video showing the difficulty Cruz is having with his daughter.   Do you believe that video involves hatred?   Do you believe that video should be hidden and suppressed?

Next, there is an old video clip on youtube purported to be Cruz as a young man, expressing himself for the camera.   Do you believe that video involves hatred?   Do you believe that video should be hidden and suppressed?

Next, there are three videos of people whose voices purportedly sound like the "Ted Cruz nasal twang", one of Kevin Meaney, one of Paul Lynde, and one of Mr. Rogers, followed by a video which contains clips of "nasal honks" (done by actors Jack Lemmon, and Tony Randall) which purportedly sound like nasal noises made at times by Ted Cruz.   Now either that is true that their nasal twangs and honks sound like those of Ted Cruz, or it is not true.   If it is true, why would sharing those truths be hatred in your eyes?   And if it was not true, and it was just a bunch of silly, nonsensical assertions that everybody could see was ridiculous, and nobody would ever believe, why would you get so mad about someone nonchalantly asserting that "falsehood" in a humorous way?

The next link is for a youtube video clip of a series of "takes" for various parts of various Ted Cruz political commercials.   These are real, genuine video clips made by Cruz, trying to sound more and more sincere in each successively repeated clip.   Do you believe that video somehow involves hatred?   Do you believe that video should be hidden and suppressed, and no one allowed to view it?

The next link is for a Google search for the string 'The effeminate Ted Cruz'.   Now if you do that same Google search for former candidate Mike Huckabee, what do you think shows up on Google?   Do you think that kind of Google search somehow shows hatred for Mike Huckabee?   (Here - try it for Mike Huckabee this time, and see what results you get for Huckabee. )   What do you think is the difference when you do that same Google search for Ted Cruz?   Do those results reflect a real, honest, genuine truth, or not?   Do you think the pursuit of the truth is a form of hatred?   Do you think that Google search and its results should be hidden and suppressed, or is it a good idea to know the truth (as Jesus said we would - John 8:32)?

The next video is a Google search for the string 'Is Marco Rubio a homosexual?'.   Marco Rubio was the one who in the debate, advised people to start doing Google searches.   Does that Google search equate to hatred in your mind?   Should the results of that search remain hidden and suppressed?   (If so, why?)

If that original post here somehow wrongly and erroneously equates to hatred in your mind, or you believe some or all of those entries should be hidden and suppressed, perhaps you should begin to question yourself why you are afraid for people to take a look at those things regarding your candidate.   Do you think there might be some good and valid reasons that questions like those about candidates for the highest office in the land should be asked and answered, and made clear to everyone, (such as potential blackmail)?   If that is truly the case, why would anybody seek to hide and suppress those things, and desire that no one learns about them?
