Christie is smart and articulate and I thought he was nice to have in the debates. He is too liberal for me on the issues. I do not respect his endorsement of Trump, but hey. it’s his choice. Doesn’t mean I have to take his advice.

Then, an open mic catches Trump saying to Christie, “Get in the plane and go home.” Per some commentaries, the media didn’t bother to play that full exchange.
Christie is on some of the Sunday morning news-talk programs. It will be interesting to hear how he responds, because the media likely bring up that clip.

It is possible the arrogant little Cuban did leave such a message, but it probably has little to do with Christie’s support of Trump. Christy is smart enough to see which way this election is headed and decided to hitch his wagon to the winning locomotive. The funny thing is that even after hugging Obama... he still was a far stronger candidate than Jeb or Rubio for the GOPe to coalesce around. They chose to toss him aside and go with the younger, better looking anchor baby who has demonstrated over and over that he will lie to the voters every time you pull his Chatty Kathy string.

Christie, like all politicians, is all about himself. His political career is over in NJ and he needs a new landing spot to continue to get a paycheck from government.
He perceives Trump as his best shot to stay employed and eventually become president.
VP spot or attorney general are his only hopes to continue to suck on the teat and stay in the news.

It was almost identical, word-for-word, of Jeb's diatribes. It seems to confirm that Rubio has been given the mantle by the GOPe - the one Jeb wore before he fell. Neither thought they would win at that point.
To me it confirms a big switch attempt at the convention. If so, I believe now there will be a third party Trump run. The GOPe will deserve it fully.
