Former CIA Chief Says Military Could Defy Donald Trumps Orders

WASHINGTON Retired Gen. Michael Hayden, who recently led the National Security Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency, said the U.S. military would likely refuse to follow certain orders from Donald Trump if he is elected to the White House in November and follows through on campaign promises.
"I would be incredibly concerned if a President Trump governed in a way that was consistent with the language that Candidate Trump expressed during the campaign," Gen. Hayden said during an interview will Bill Maher on Friday.
Mr. Trump, the frontrunner in the GOP primary, has vowed to use torture techniques against suspected terrorists if he wins the White House, going beyond waterboarding and doing things he described as a "hell of a lot worse."
He has also suggested he would order U.S. forces to kill the family members of terrorists, a charge that some have alleged would be in violation of the Geneva Convention.

Oh I bet the people in the ranks have a different opinion. And all I needed to know about this clown is that he made the statement on Bill Maher’s show. An Allen West he is not.
You don’t have a clue who the real enemy is, do you?
No, it’s not Hillary.
Trump simply never said he would kill terrorist families. It is one of MANY times when he said something that sounded extreme, but was couched in enough weasel words to not actually be a commitment to doing what it sounded like. He said he’d “take out” the families and in interviews when pressed he would never actually say he would kill them.
Like many of his statements, he uses very careful language to make his core supporters think he’s going to do something extreme or radical, when in fact he is clearly just tricking them.
The moderates will end up being much happier with Trump than some of them think now (I guess Christie figured it out) and his supporters (at least the ones who fell for it) will be disappointed. But the media will definitely keep running with the most extreme interpretations of his comments.
Fire the lot of them on your first day Mr. Trump.

Lets see how the Trumpkins react to this one...
Better yet....lets see how the CRuzbots react to this one.
Like they refused 0buttbongo’s orders?
Shut up, Hayden.
You were lackey to Obama.
What’s his FR nick?
****bot
Does the Cheap Labor Express pay well?
Don’t worry Hayden, Trump will be a great Commander-in-Chief and will be much loved.
As for you, go find a sewer. There will be plenty of dedicated military folks who will gladly put the manhole cover over you.
HAHAHAHA! I’m sure there were similar articles in 1980 about how the military would shun Ronald Reagan in favor of that bold soldier Carter.
Who do you think they would rather have breakfast with in some war zone, Donald Trump or Hillary?
This article is COMPLETE crap.
>>>Mr. Trump, the frontrunner in the GOP primary, has vowed to use torture techniques against suspected terrorists if he wins the White House<<<
Funny, I never heard Donald Trump use the word “torture”. Now why would the good General make that up?
We can only hope more and more of the defiant ones out themselves prior to a firm hand coming into power and authority. It makes command and control so much easier to swiftly implement upon change of command.
Not if Prez Trump cleans out the Obama appointees and replace them with professional military.
The shadow government needs some sunshine. Too much mold and mildew growing in the dark.
rolled over like little b!tchs when the boy said put fags in the military and girls into combat units... feh

Yeah, these General always follow orders, as long as you threaten their retirement pay.....Otherwise we would have had a military coup by now.
Military is only allowed to follow lawful orders. simply following orders didn’t work out so well as a defense in the Nuremberg Trials, did it?
Heres a great read about the GOPes election plans, in fact it the best Ive run across yet.
