Next you’ll be telling us she endorsed him...right?

Uh, no. That would be a lie. Just as it is when Trump supporters say that Cruz endorsed Rubio.

So three Governor's have jumped on to the Trump train;

1. LePage from Maine
2. Christie from NJ
3. Jan Brewster from AZ

About that first one ... any idea what this guy's story is? Drudge has a New York Slimes article up right now that says this ...

The scenario Karl Rove outlined was bleak.

Addressing a luncheon of Republican governors and donors in Washington on Feb. 19, he warned that Donald J. Trump's increasingly likely nomination would be catastrophic, dooming the party in November. But Mr. Rove, the master strategist of George W. Bush's campaigns, insisted it was not too late for them to stop Mr. Trump, according to three people present.

At a meeting of Republican governors the next morning, Paul R. LePage of Maine called for action. Seated at a long boardroom table at the Willard Hotel, he erupted in frustration over the state of the 2016 race, saying Mr. Trump's nomination would deeply wound the Republican Party. Mr. LePage urged the governors to draft an open letter "to the people," disavowing Mr. Trump and his divisive brand of politics.

What kind of two-faced creep is this guy? Something is very suspicious. Maybe a spy?

Don’t worry about those TFH (Troll For Hire)ers and much of anything they post.

My guess is they’re all getting paid by the number of their posts and replies with a bonus for disruptions to the thread.

Only response that stuff merits is to hit that “Report Abuse” tab. You might even get lucky and get to attend the ZOT.

(A guy’s gotta have SOME amusement with all the heavy breathing going on around here lately.)

After all the years I've spent dealing with the aftermath of NYSlime "stories", I'd very definitely say "Something is very suspicious".

...such as the possibility/damn near certainty that, if the Slime couldn't pull up that quote out of context or by cut-and-paste, they'd just make it up.

OTOH, if things have already gone to the point of involvement of NYSlime in the Damage Control, the excrement has truly impinged on the impeller in somebody’s little world.

I do believe that I’ll start a bowl of popcorn. This could get to be fun.

Name on thing a Republican has done in the last 30 years that helped return this country to it's founding.

Ronald Reagan elevated William Rehnquist to the Chief Justiceship.

Rehnquist was an Originalist and a defender and restorer of the Tenth Amendment, which Clarence Thomas pointed to when he knocked down Clinton's "midnight basketball" gun-control bill as requiring local LE to gee and haw to the Feds.

Rehnquist also wrote All the Laws but One, an analysis of the history of executive overreach.

Oh I fully agree with you about that. They're my hometown paper and I respect them so little that I made this graphic for use in threads that reference them ...

... ( Also I made one for the WSJ, another WSJ+Photo and also one for the WaPo. Any FRiends who want to may please feel free to use them at will ).

But having said that, I can't imagine how they could have manufactured that quote from LePage without expecting a sharp rebuke from him and having to make a rare, embarrassing retraction.

I'm genuinely curious about this Governor now, since that quote is less than four weeks ago!

Point taken.

...except that, with literally TRILLIONs of dollars at stake, a little thing like lying and maybe having to stick a retraction back in the peep show ads wouldn’t bother those bums a bit.

(And by the way of full disclosure, I only mistrust politicians/lawyers a micron or so less than I do what I usually describe as their pimps in the MSM. Sooooo, if LePage *is* lying, there’s at least a 50-50 shot that he was doing it to Rove ‘n the Boyz whereas if he’s lying now, Trump will just stand him over in the corner with instructions to repeat only that line and absolutely nothing more every time he’s asked until the election’s over and he gets his butt kicked overboard at cruising altitude.)

I hadn't thought of that!

Please let this be the case. We definitely need some asymmetrical warfare from our guys. If we finally have some fighters on our side then those GOPe putzes will never know what hit 'em.

Wow, so anyone who endorses Trump automatically becomes anti-establishment and was probably just “pretending” to go along with the GOPe?

That is far out there, man. That is Tooth Fairy and unicorn kind of stuff.

It will change, why, because a bunch of political climbers want to butt kiss who they think is likely to be the nominee? Is this change we can believe in?

I wonder if we can soon add Kasich to the list ;-)

You'll really know it's Armageddon when Scott Walker gets onboard. And Gilmore. And Perry.

Tooth fairy stuff, are you a crack sniffer?

My post only lists who who has endorsed Trump, I did leave out Palin, so did your post have a point besides showing us you can’t understand a simple text?

It ain’t got a thing to do with change, it’s just politics.

I dimly recall a novel that I read that talked about aliens exposing the entire government to a science fiction energy beam that made it impossible to say anything but truth for a day. The punch line went, “Yeah, and after the first four hours, you would have sworn there would have been fewer deaths and less damage if they’d just dropped an H-bomb.”

A year from now you will not find anyone on here admitting they voted for Trump. It is going to be a rude awakening for them when they realize they have been duped by the greatest con man ever.

Good luck with that.

I'm a Trump supporter. Go ahead and ping me a year from now. I'll still be here and we can discuss Trump's first full month in office.
