(CNSNews.com) – The senior Democrat in the U.S. Senate, Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) implied during an exchange with Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday that Iran was justified in detaining ten U.S. sailors who entered Iranian waters last month.
The incident came up during a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing on the administration’s State and foreign operations budget request, after Kerry argued that the nuclear deal and his relationship with his Iranian counterpart had been responsible for the quick resolution of what he said could have turned into a hostage situation.
Then Leahy spoke: “If we had an Iranian boat, warship – military – boat or ship, with armed Iranians on it. Say it came along the coast, uh, pick a place within our waters, say South Carolina, and was well within the U.S. borders, perhaps had the engines stopped – but armed Iranians,†he said.
“Would we not at least hold them until we found out what they were doing?â€

An Iranian Navy ship off our coast would be an act of war. Iran does not have equal sovereignty as the US and does not have the right to question or act on our navy in their territorial waters.
We wouldn’t have paraded them out.
The entire incident has false flag all over it. If it wasn’t a false flag, it was something that wouldn’t pass inspection. Very suspicious set up.

They didn’t try to board our aircraft carrier because they are a bunch of limp-dicked cowards who only attack boats that are in trouble and can’t blow the crap out of them.
We would detain them, but we would not make them kneel. We would not make them cry and then film their disgrace under intimidation. We are more civilized.
I think Patrick Leahy is fading mentally, at least that’s the way it appears when he speaks out anymore.
