The turnout at Trump rallies has been unlike anything seen in presidential primaries; and what's more, the GOP voter turnout in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Nevada set new records for the party.
Yet voter turnout for the Clinton-Sanders race has fallen, in every contest, below what it was in the Clinton-Obama race in 2008.

This is the year of the outsider, and Hillary is the prom queen of Goldman Sachs. She represents continuity. Trump represents change.
...
America is crossing into a new era. Trump seems to have caught the wave, while Clinton seems to belong to yesterday.
A note of caution: This establishment is not going quietly.

Trump is repeating MUCH of what Pat Buchanan ran on in the 1990s:
anti open borders
anti NAFTA ‘free trade’
For the working man. Not the elites. The Nixon formula.
Yep.
It’s also good that Marco is spitting out all the Trump scandals he can think of now. And I’m sure if he knew of more, he’d have spewed them too because he may not have that many more times to spew them. So now the Trump University thing, the Polish workers thing, whatever else - it’s all out and it will be old news that nobody cares about by the time Hillary gets to take her shot.
Interesting comments.
As per the Norm — Mr Buchanan Nails It.
These aren’t big scandals. The Trump University lawsuit is pretty dumb.
and Rush stabbing him in the back...we know why.
“America is crossing into a new era. Trump seems to have caught the wave, while Clinton seems to belong to yesterday.”
That is the money shot line.
Watching the establishment talking heads, I have to agree with Pat that they won’t go quietly. They are putting all the eggs in the basket to earn 2nd places all the way to the convention to broker it. What a terrible strategy.
I am sleeping with the enemy tonight and enjoying it. Chris Matthews is actually being transparent about this stuff. We know he doesn’t ultimately serve Trump’s interests, but he knows its over except for some kind of organized denial of what the voters have expressed. Chris is calling Cruz out on saying it might be that Trump is guilty of tax fraud.
I will say that as much as they hate Ted Cruz, it does perk my ears a bit. They really despise him. lol
A great article.
It’s a world Zeitgeist and Trump is leading it. If he wins the Presidential Election, the world will shift to the right with momentum.
Anybody else and everything stays the same. drab and depression with hopelessness for the young and that means troubles for Seniors.
That gif is so funny! Did you create that yourself?
Rush is not stabbing anybody in the back (except brocko, hildebeeste, kerry, reich, bilk linton, et al). I listen to him most every day, and I find that one day, he finds something positive to say about one of the three repubs who are in the running, and the next day, or week, he will find something positive to say about another one. When one of them goes a little haywire, he says, whoa, whoa, whoa, what was that?
But to say he is pumping one or stabbing another is just the eye of a particular beholder, who wishes he’d go all-in with the beholder’s fave. IMHO, but I know whereof I speak.
For when I have more time...
You da man!
I got news for you. If you want a sub for demolition in NYC back in the 1980s, you’d likely have no choice but to hire the illegal Polish.
Trump never admitted that he knew they were illegal and the Appellate Court agreed. Knowing vs. should have known is a distinction with a difference.
