Seats for Houston's first Republican Presidential debate have become prime political real estate. The debate kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Moores Opera House at the University of Houston.
Just 800 available seats will be divided between the candidates, party officials and members, donors and sponsors.

According to Telemundo, the UH debate will be the first put one by the GOP focusing on "Latino issues" like border policy and immigration reform

Sounds like another fix by the GOPe.
Looks like Trump told the idiots to take a hike.
If Rubio doesn’t get killed off in this debate then they aren’t trying...
Meaning their needs are superior to the rest of the country.
Who the hell agreed to this garbage? The RNC just loves suicide.
Cruz & Trump have the most to lose here.
Expect attack questions all night long.
I guess all three Latinos in New Hampshire will get guaranteed seats. Hope they don’t demand a GOP platform that will give New Hampshire back to Mexico as part of an “irredentism” program. /sarc
New England had or still has a significant Portuguese immigrant population and I wonder what they are thinking re politics today. The ones my wife and I met in the 70’s were kind, hardworking people (near Newport, Rhode Island).
Then again, Bridgeport, Conn. was a safe place and clean back then, Brown Un. wasn’t known as Arafat University, and there weren’t a lot of far-left Democrats in Congress as we see today.
The times they are a’changing and not for the better.
“Cruz & Trump have the most to lose here.”
to who? Rinio? are you kidding me? Rinio won’t carry 1 out of 250 counties in Texas. What a knee slapping joke. Cruz is dropping like a rock in Texas according to the wfaa poll. This thing is over.
They’ve all been about “border policy and immigration reform”.
Boy, this is a great chance to knock Rubio down! He’ll go for the ‘compassionate cheap labor express’ route and lose half of his support.
I'm more talking about the general. This is a chance for the media with a willing crowd to paint Cruz & Trump as heartless bastards wanting to throw starving children out of the country. Meanwhile, Rubio and Kasich get to play the thoughtful conservatives with heart.
Will Texans remember in 2018 that their sitting Senator didn’t bother to tell them in 2012 that he was Canadian?
Another debate that won’t be worth a pile of crap. Overrated.
Oh ok — I understand now. I am not afraid of the general 1 bit. Hillary is a total criminal sick joke. She will lose in a land slide to Trump.
you know? Ill be that Cruz is in big trouble in the next election down there. Texas doesn’t like liars . They used to hang’em or shoot’em. Good folks.
What is a latino issue? Dependency? Criminal activity along the border and interior? Third world disease?
A little help here....
I say I’m not going to bother to watch but I probably will. Enough with the debates. How many times do we have to hear these guys spout their talking points to obnoxious combative Democrat operatives?
Folks, if you're reading this, you know what needs to happen.
If you can, please support the forum at this time. Thank you.
One irrevelent poll shows him a pt ahead of Cruz. “dropping like a rock?” I don’t think so. Other polls have Cruz up over double digits. Anyway Texas’s voting is half over. (early voting).
I hope he is not going there.
