Good luck explaining that.
Ted Cruz, who won cases ....against the World Court. ...

this is not true...
the Medellin case was never tried in the World Court...
this was an American criminal case against an illegal alien rapist/murderer...
President Bush stepped in to squash the WC from interfering...
Nice try but no carrot...
Third place is a win, though—Right?
Perhaps one might think about taking a moment to consider what Cruz’s chances would be in the General if he’s running behind Rubio. A number of Jeb’s supporters went to Trump instead of padding Rubio as much as they had hoped. If either Cruz or Rubio drops, you would have to assume that Trump would benefit as much as the other left standing.
Apparently, the way to win is to cast principle to the winds.
You would hand this callous and vindictive man who only answers to himself the most militarized police in the history of this nation with the most invasive regulations in the history of this nation with the least regard for anything but what he considers "winning" the reins of power to the greatest military in the world. What could possibly go wrong?
Just imagine how cheaply he could have built his parking lot (fail) with those reins of power. Note his winery was obtained using exactly the same tactics the BLM is snapping up ranches with.
I have. Rubio would not be in the race, nor would Trump. So, either the GOPee voters would hold their noses and back Cruz, or let it burn. Either the Trump supporters would vote for Cruz or stay home and pout.
We haven't had a situation where we'd find out if those who didn't support a Conservative in the primary would vote for the Conservative in the General. If Cruz does not get the nomination, that test will not be made this time either.
Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Nevada. As of the 2010 census, the population was 5,345. Its county seat is Pioche.
In an area bigger than New Jersey.
Oh please. So you think funding PP is principled? That's what our congress just passed! I love how politicians, not living in the real world, with real consequences, use think tanks and rags to give them conservative ratings. Pretty much participation trophies. How about they, you know, actually accomplish something instead of making excuses.
Can you believe it? A casino owner doing well in Nevada?
Look for Cruz to bounce back in the Bible Belt. Especially if Carson steps aside.
Ego will not allow. He may find himself out of the Senate next go around. Everyone will step up to take him on. I’d expect lil George Pee Bush to do so.
Cruz has been pro-life all along, and is just one vote. It is seldom anything Congress votes on isn't bundled with a host of other things, and it's Hobson's choice. If you vote for it you get smacked for voting for funding for the evil things in the bill and if you vote against you get smacked for voting against the good things in the bill. That's the way it works, and the POTUS doesn't have a line item veto, so either he says yea or nay, too.
Of course, the guy who doesn't have a voting record can say at any time that his position has changed and people suck that up.
Cruz has been pro-life all along, and is just one vote.
More excuses. Hey, instead of give me your vote, you say, give me your money and I will start a business that is successful. After failure, blame the public for not being interested in what you are selling. Same dang thing.
Is that why the Donald had 4 bankruptcy proceedings?
See?
Hold someone to a standard that cannot be met when they are in enemy territory (Washington DC) and blame them for enemy action. Nice.
We used to revere the folks who fought on, despite overwhelming odds. Now it seems to be that 'servatives like the one who has never been in the arena but brays loudest that the other guy is a loser because he can't prevail against a horde of opponents.
You may come to ask, after several more years, why did Cruz spend so much time doing nothing?
I would rather have a guy who I agree with on three major issues-—who DOES those issues-—than someone I agree with 100% who dies nothing but talk.
If you have nothing to add to a conversation, it’s best to just shut up.
Is that why the Donald had 4 bankruptcy proceedings?
Yes, and with how many successes? Cruz has not been able to be successful on a single senate campaign promise.
See?
As a nation, we must start looking for winners instead of excepting their excuses.
When you are one director and there are a hundred on the board, it can be a little tough to get things through. Cruz isn't CEO, not even chairman of the board. But he has stood for the principles he was elected to stand for. He has kept the faith with those who sent him there. That the others have not is his fault, how?
It is a lesson the Donald has yet to learn, unless he will be like Duh-1. If the Congress doesn't send it to him, he can't sign it into law.
We need 99 more winners in DC, and that is just the Senate.
Funny how the dems, even when in the minority, manage to move the ball in their direction and have reshaped this country using that tactic. On the other hand, we get excuses. To believe that defunding PP was not possible, or putting restrictions on abortion after 20 weeks when all republicans say they are pro life, and so do some dems. This all or nothing approach is meant to deliver exactly that, nothing. Watching how the gop fights the tea party, they know how to fight, so this must be by design. We may have to agree to disagree. But I am done with excuses.
