Oh please. So you think funding PP is principled? That's what our congress just passed! I love how politicians, not living in the real world, with real consequences, use think tanks and rags to give them conservative ratings. Pretty much participation trophies. How about they, you know, actually accomplish something instead of making excuses.
Cruz has been pro-life all along, and is just one vote. It is seldom anything Congress votes on isn't bundled with a host of other things, and it's Hobson's choice. If you vote for it you get smacked for voting for funding for the evil things in the bill and if you vote against you get smacked for voting against the good things in the bill. That's the way it works, and the POTUS doesn't have a line item veto, so either he says yea or nay, too.
Of course, the guy who doesn't have a voting record can say at any time that his position has changed and people suck that up.
