On Monday, Rick Scott said he wasnât ready to endorse in the Florida Presidential Primary election on March 15, but there are those who believe he might be leaning towards Donald Trump.
That speculation was sparked last month, when Scott penned an op-ed in USA Today, a column in which he wrote very favorably about the New York City business mogul.
I know Donald Trump personally, and while I currently have no plans to endorse a candidate before Floridaâs March presidential primary, there is no doubt that Donald is a man who speaks and tweets his mind freely. But I donât think his ability to give the most interesting interviews or speeches is the only thing that has him leading in the polls. I think he is capturing the frustration of many Americans after seven years of President Obamaâs very intentional government takeover of the U.S. economy.
The quiet speculation broke out in the open on Tuesday, when The Washington Postâs Chris Cillizza listed Scott on a short-list of possible vice presidential candidates that Trump might be contemplating as he continues to roll through the Republican primary and caucus calendar.
Like Trump, Scott was a lifelong nonpolitician until he opted to run for governor in 2010. Like Trump, Scott made a fortune in the private sector.

I have no idea who RS is
NO!NO!NO!
He is the Governor of Florida.
Shameless plug for an endorsement?
I have no idea who RS is
Scott announced his intention to run for governor of Florida, in 2010. He defeated Bill McCollum in the Republican primary election and defeated Democratic nominee Alex Sink in a close race in the general election, spending roughly $75 million of his own money in the process. In 2014, he won re-election over former Republican turned Democratic challenger, former governor Charlie Crist and others.

Scott Walker.
This was the slow kid waving his hand going “Pick Me, Pick Me”. Very doubtful it’s going to be Rick Scott.
Trump doesn’t need a gov for VP! He needs a politician who knows the inner workings of the house and senate so he smoke thru all the bills and laws ASAP!
She was tough on immigration in Arizona, supports the military, fought Obamacare, improved Arizona child protective services, is pro-life, supports the second amendment, and would challenge Clinton for the women's vote.
She might be a good fit for Trump.

During the last election, of all the Republicans who won one of Florida’s major races, Rick Scott did the worst.
I like Walker for the job too. If he were picked, wouldn’t those other governors have to wonder who was the smartest of them all ;-)
I know some don’t like Suzanna Martinez, but there’s the diversity thing. But Walker could bring a lot of support from the midwest states who know what he’s done to reform WI and a swing state. Pretty much the same can be said for Kasich, although I can hear the boos and screams already...
“It’s business”
Hmmm...that would be a wonderful pick!

...
Yep, he essentially purchased the governorship. One thing he has going for him is the liberals really really hate him. But he isn’t quite right either.
So.... Newt?
It will probably be Trump/Kasich.
That would ensure Ohio for the GOP, and Kasich knows his way around Washington, having served in Congress and also dealt with the feds as governor.
Then she folded like a cheap suit. No thanks.
If Trump secures the Republican nomination, the best thing he could do to unite the voters is to ask Ted Cruz to be his Vice-President.
