That sounds like BS to me. Pretty much everywhere I’ve been in Asia, there are Ladies and Gents rooms, as there should be.
I’ve only been to Europe and there were separate rest rooms.

How is one’s “gender” determined legally? This question must be resolved, since now a person can be arrested for going into a bathroom, or can be exonerated from prosecution for going into a bathroom, depending on “gender.”
Depending on clothing won’t work. Depending on hair length, makeup, beard, mustache, won’t work either. Asking the person to drop pants and underwear is unreasonable and an invasion of privacy.
So how’s it going to be determined?

I suspect we’re on our way to having public benjo ditches replace restrooms.
Doesn’t matter what laws they pass, the courts will push their perversion through, just like they did with gay marriage.
