Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz said Monday he’s fired campaign communications director Rick Tyler, after his top spokesman promoted a video that wrongly depicted Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as trash-talking the Bible. The Texas senator announced that he's asked for the resignation at a press conference Monday afternoon.

Is his campaign manager also a GOPe plant? Because unless it is Cruz himself, Jeff Roe is really the source of the culture of lying and win-at-any-cost dirty campaigning. I can only assume this based on numerous FReepers stating that this campaign is nothing like what Cruz ran in Texas.
The buck stops at the top. The type of people let onto a campaign are indicative of the character judgement of the candidate.

I agree. For some time I have felt that Cruz was getting bad advice. In SC he should have gone after Rubio, not Trump. Now Rubio and FOX are acting as if he won the state. Rubio is the establishment candidate.
