Fresh off back-to-back victories in the Republican presidential race, Donald Trump is moving to expand his tight-knit campaign by building a political kitchen cabinet that includes former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani.
Giuliani, who has not made an endorsement in the 2016 contest, said in an interview Sunday that he has conferred at length with Trump at least three times in the past month, both in person and by phone, and has counseled the real estate mogul "as a close personal friend" about campaign issues.
"We've been talking. Donald and me, Donald and a few other friends who know politics. He calls to check things out or I'll call him to say, 'Donald, you're going too far' or 'What you said was great' or maybe 'Change it a bit.' Itâs nothing formal. It's kind of a running conversation," Giuliani said. "There is candor and there is trust."

He also has his own law firm.
He would prosecute Hillary.
Rudy has an enormous wealth of knowledge from both his major positions that I’m sure would be valuable to Trump. Inside knowledge. I wouldn’t worry about him making any policy decisions. Trump thinks for himself.
That would ROCK!
1) Going against Islamic terrorists. Unlike the current crop of PC-babies, Guliani has been a strong voice against terrorism and in a candid, forthright manner.
2) Cleaning up the streets. Very strict law-and-order fellow who backs the police.
He would be a great foreign policy adviser or something having to do with law enforcement.
Anything else, I would be concerned. Socially, he doesn't have even a passing acquaintance with conservatism.
If they’re both residents of the State of New York, then no. It can’t be Trump/Giuliani.
Was he mayor on 9/11? He never mentions that /sarc
Yeah, it is constitutionally banned for Prez/VP to be from the same state. It’s not going to happen even if one of them moves since that would just give the democrats ammo that they were breaking the rules. Not to mention Giuliani is unacceptable to republicans for his social issues. He’s a great adviser or Cabinet member which is what Trump has in mind I’m sure for Department of Homeland Security.
There goes the second amendment—wave goodbye to it.
“There goes the second amendmentâwave goodbye to it.”
You’re so silly. Get real.
Funnily enough, Cruz USED TO KNOW WHAT A NBC was, but now he has completely forgotten it....because he isn’t one!
Surgeon General
How patently ridiculous!
No. It’s about the invasion, free trade and defense. Oh. And beating H! Any conservative who can fix all that power to him
even though the idea of a trump presidency makes me nervous the one thing I am sure about trump is that he will surround him self with competency. he might not be the smartest man in the room but he can recognize the smartest man in the room and tell the difference between the bs and knowledge.
Are you from NY? Because I’ve lived in both city and upstate and no way does Trump have NY sewed up.
Don’t they both own homes in NY and Florida? Do they both claim NY residency now? I wouldn’t NY taxes suck!
Couldn’t get more establishment than Rudy.
