I work as a contracted provider within a VA system in the Northwest. The hospital “campus” is huge. I was shocked to learn that there were only 36 beds in the hospital building itself. There are 3 “staff” positions for every medical provider - doctors, nurses, mid-levels, technicians, etc. The VA’s problem is the same as the rest of fedgov: bureaucratic BLOAT! The whole system needs a fire hose enema.

It is even worse than the article says. Not only did Ruebens create a $181,000 job for herself in Philadelphia and Bill the taxpayers for over $300,000 in “moving expenses”, she brought her lesbian lover with her, who billed the taxpayers for $135,000 in “moving expenses” AND she was promoted from GS-7 to GS-15 in less than 8 years. Also, the elephant in the room of the Philadelphia VA is that they hire mostly minorities to handle case files. I don't know if they react out of racism towards the white applicants, or simply incompetence, but they simply refuse to lift a finger on the job. They even shredded thousands of applicants files.

Trump will find a way to fire these monsters... Kind of reminds me of the Catholic Church shuffling rapist Priests around... enabling the monsters...so they could continue to do hard. Shame on the VA and their lowlife enables in Congress.
