It just works on so many levels. Inspirational leader, business man, and if they bring up that infidelity thing, well, Trump starts talking about William Jefferson Clinton - JMHO
I like Herman Cain but this idea is a non-starter.
Cain’s 15 minutes are up, IMO. And Alan West was sort of a flash in the pan.
Scott Walker, John Kasich, and Marco Rubio would all help the ticket geographically.
But what would be better I think is a woman. That is one argument that has not stuck with Trump, he has not disadvantaged women in his business empire or we would have seen the long parade long before now. Condoleezza Rice? Maybe a damaged brand. Palin? No real help there. Carly Fiorina? Maybe.
Then one other which may be outstanding is Jeff Sessions. He is the better Cruz than Cruz. His endorsement before Super Tuesday would really help Trump, and he might could tow the SE in the General Election.
Trump could also go non-political like Perot did with Admiral Stockdale. Not sure who would be on that list.
Too bad Trump had a dust up with Carly Fiorina. She would have made a good pick. Woman - Business savvy - California votes. That would have made a good team.
empowerment zones...HELL NO
I second that motion!
“My guess- Rand Paul.”
Cindy Sheethead?
Nein! Nein! Nein!
Cain, Paul; you bmust be nuts.
I would love to see him pick Alan West.
At this point, it would disappoint me if he didn't. This is his point, get more of what you want and need than the other guy, but absolutely positively get on with the getting. Make the deal. The GOPe is not Mexico, China, Japan, North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, or Syria after all. Where is the deal?
The only deals we are making are these climate handshake things where we get to say how sorry we are for giving the Earth lung cancer.
Anyway, I don't think there is a "no deal" policy with Trump on a lot of things.
Uh no
Trump said he’s picking a politician
He needs the combo of business savvy and someone who understands how government works
And he needs someone who is a demonstrated winner
Rubio would be his best choice but I think marco is gonna be owned by the GOPe
Maybe Scott Walker - a winner who is tough on special interests and gets stuff done
Like Trump
Remind us again of why the pizza guy dropped out last time? Bimbo eruption?
West lost his seat
Maybe unfairly but he lost
Trump team will not hire a political loser as vp
Imo
In addition to Rand Paul, don't forget Ben Carson. He's taken it to the mainstream media and deserves a lot of credit for fighting political correctness. I also like that Carson's is an accomplished professional, not someone who has been a lawyer or politician their entire lives. What I don't like about Carson is that he's not proven in running a large organization. |
Sessions?
999!!
Amen!
My Guess is Trump would nominate someone more in line with his way of thinking. Someone who might be his twin.
Since Sanders will get screwed by the DNC, maybe Trump will pick him.
We had a Freeper here that was related to Baxter.
I saw him once with the doobie bros, that dude was highly professional.
Some say he was a spook
