Ted Cruz couldn't resist an attack by name on Trump in his speech. Trump gave him and Rubio gracious congratulations for their campaigns. Rubio took high ground and was collegial to Trump and Jeb.
Cruz sure does attack a lot for a guy that says I won't attack my competition....

Totally agree with you. You are spot on. Sadly, many of Trump’s supporters act just like him — abrasive, insulting, rude, name-calling. I WONDER HOW CIVIL THE WEBSITE WOULD BE IF TRUMP’S SUPPORTERS JUST KNOCKED OFF THEIR TRASH TALK FOR A FEW DAYS AND SHUT UP.
Don’t call me son, grand-dad. And you are not telling the truth either. I’ve seen the quote. Trump said what a disaster Bush was and how Obama seemed to be doing so well — as he did his America-hating apology tour. Context is everything and you’re dishonest about the context and what he said, but no surprise you’d defend the dear leader even if he shot someone (at least Donald said you would).

To me, it is an insulting term, such as that Megyn Kelly is a stupid blonde. That is how I took Trump’s remark. And I don’t think there is a way to overlook his calling Fiona ugly or saying that Carson resembled a child molester.

Ted Cruz epitomizes everything I absolutely hate about the professional political class in DC. I wish I had never voted for him here in Texas. I will not be making that mistake again.

I would imagine you disagreed with him fighting Obamacare, opposing giving $100 billion to the world’s terrorist nation, opposing the Obama illegal executive amnesty grab and standing up for the Chinese dissident imprisoned in China. After having my two dimwit senators, I could only dream to have a great senator like Ted Cruz.
Since you don’t want to vote for Cruz again, maybe you can support someone like Trump, who gains kudos from Bob Dole, Jimmy Carter and Scott Brown. Maybe the losers like Dole, Carter and Brown — and their man Trump — are more to your liking. Robert Reich, poor little Clintonoid, lives in fear of Cruz. That’s exactly what I want — fear from the left.

Yes, we are all sinners. But not all of us have dumped two wives for mistresses and been serial adulterers, along with piping praise to the great Obama. I have never praised Obama for anything — and that’s exactly what he deserves, continued criticism and unyielding opposition, unlike Trump, who supported his stimulus and bailout. Great little Obama man.
