You are not going to believe what happened next:

My husband was a Berkeley student in the ‘70s and pretty apolitical when he went in. Being around, and observing, the idiot liberals there, he became a staunch Conservative.

Thee student center of the Rutgers Newark campus is named after Paul Robeson. One of the rooms in the building is used by the Revolutionary Communist Party. I went to New Jersey Institute of Technology, just across the street. The RevComs would sometimes come over to the NJIT campus to harass the Air Force ROTC cadets.
