Rutgers University students expressed hurt feelings and fear in the wake of a controversial lecture last week by conservative writer Milo Yiannopoulos, saying the outspoken commentator's takedowns of liberal views were an assault on their sensibilities.
"I felt my identity was getting shot at by what he was saying and by what other people were saying," sophomore Jasmine Dennis noted during Monday's forum, according to the Daily Targum, the New Jersey school's newspaper.
As part of his "The Most Dangerous Faggot Tour," Yiannopoulos - who indeed is gay - lambasted many schools' attempts to shield students from ideas that might offend them during his Feb. 9 speech, calling out their "culture of safe spaces and trigger warnings."
"Of course, they're not really traumatized or upset - they're just upset that someone disagrees with them," he offered. "In my view, anybody who asks for a trigger warning or a safe space should be immediately expelled."
During the lecture many students held loud protests in which they shook their fists and smeared fake blood on their faces -

What a bunch of weaklings...
I think we should stop calling them babies, and start calling them bullies.
Nerd Bullies. Easy to beat the hell out of. I am sick of their demands, and the “parents” who claimed to have raise them. Both need a DoughtyOne attitude adjustment!
This is jut more proof that we need to severely restrict college admissions. I, for one, do not accept college graduation as a job criteria. I want to see transcripts with the right courses and high grades. College has been dumbed down to the point that anyone with less than a 3.8 GPA within the past 15 years just didn’t try.
Just how sequestered these darlings really are is reflected in the fact that they clearly do not know the entire country, left and right, is laughing at them. Which it is.
Bump
Almost 72 years ago, kids the same age were looking forward to getting on a boat with some friends to storm the beaches of Normandy.
They probably didn’t worry much about getting their feelings hurt from micro-aggression.
These people have no instinct for survival. They seem like farm animals.
They should charge these cry-babies extra tuition fees for every complaint or protest they make. A thousand dollars a whine and I bet most of their hurt feelings would die a quick death. “What do I want more? Attention or a trip to Ft. Lauderdale during spring break?” I bet they’d learn a fast economic lesson and grow up at the same time.
I’m sure my late father (a Rutgers graduate)is spinning in his grave right now...
The whining is deafening.
Won’t someone buy a crate of pacifiers and start tossing them at these crybabies?
Please tell me you’re kidding!
When I was a kid, quite often a Juvie judge would give the newly found “guilty” delinquint the choice between Reform School or a hitch in the Branch that would take them. If the crime not really “serious” the kid could choose the branch.
The military did indeed straighten out thousands of young guys heading toward disaster. And the country as a whole was better for it.
TODAY the military will not accept that semi-troubled kid and we see cities literally overrun with feral punks who could greatly benefit from a few hundred cc’s of drill sergeant or petty officer, and the country is the worse for it.
It’s one of those things you find on the web and aren’t sure if it’s a joke or not. To close to actual attitudes. I mean cuddle puddle was a big joke to me until finding out it was real .
My own dad was one of those given the “join the military and get out of town or go to jail” types. Seems he was a rum runner and got caught. Worked for him. He did great.
What these closet Marxists will never u nderstand is that their insane requirements for comfort are EXACTLY the same requirements for comfort exhibited by the ruling class aristocracy. And, yes Freepers, there is such a thing in this country. A chart of hippie New Age cultural accouterments- hot tubs, crystal healing, reflexology, mud baths, massage, herbal “cleanses”, candle light, trance music, persnickety diet, body worship, intolerance of surprise, meditation, spiritism, etc., can all be found at spas for the rich and famous going back before written history. These young radicals have been co-opted by their class enemies and don’t even know it.
Awwww... Did their witto feewins get hurted...?
Sack up you bunch of (insert Trump language here)!
