Breitbart.com ^ | 19 Feb 2016 | John Nolte

Posted on 02/19/2016 10:21:57 AM PST by Rockitz

During Thursday’s CNN Townhall event, when pressed by moderator Anderson Cooper on the “benefits” of the ObamaCare mandate, Republican frontrunner Donald Trump said, “Well, I like the mandate.” He then went on to blast ObamaCare as a “disaster” and President Obama as a liar.

Trump made clear that he is not for single payer healthcare and wants to allow private insurers to compete across state lines. Trump is, however, in favor of taking care “of those who cannot take care of themselves.” We do not want “people dying on the streets,” Trump said.

Trump is for making deals. He will do whatever to make deals. The guy has no principles or convictions, except to make deals.

You think the current republicans in congress are unprincipled snakes, just want until Trump gets those “deals” across.

Well, I have yet to pay any mandate and I refuse to give any money to socialists scumbags. You will have to come and take it.

Interesting. The mandate is the line the Fed Gov crossed that made it The enemy of my constitution.

I do have suggestions for the Donald.

1. Open up enrollments at medical schools.
2. Use more Physician assistants.
3. Limit access to experimental treatments for indigent care.
4. Limit access to certain procedures that are not life saving.
5. Skype doctors.

I pray that Trumpbots’ ears are opened to what Trump is saying. I pray that they come to their senses and reconsider the only viable, consistent conservative running. I pray that they join FR founder Jim Robinson, and thousands of other long-time FReepers, in supporting Ted Cruz in the primary.

This seals the deal. If Trump is the nominee, I’ll sit this one out.

Frankly, I’m not voting for someone I disagree with on so many issues. How did he become a “Republican”? He should have run as a Dem.

Mandating what?

We mandate that people have car insurance. Is that what is meant?

I pray that Trumpbots' ears are opened to what Trump is saying.

If their ears are open but their minds remain closed then what difference does it make?

And also, if you are going to invoke Jim, you might also realize that he is also good with Trump as the nominee and he wants the sliming on both sides to stop.

And this line of attack is out-of-context slime. That doesn't seem to stop the hyper-partisans from rolling in it like a dog on a fresh steamin' turd.

[This seals the deal. If Trump is the nominee, I’ll sit this one out.]

He was referring to the need to cover people w pre-existing conditions. Not penalizing people who don’t buy insurance.

Perhaps you and others on this thread should do some more research before jumping to conclusions.
