An NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released Friday finds Donald Trump leading the GOP presidential field by only 5 points in South Carolina, down from 16 points a month ago.
The RealClearPolitics average of polls still finds Trump ahead of the pack by double digits going into Saturday's South Carolina primary, but Friday's survey reports Trump has 28 percent support among likely Republican voters, down from 36 percent in January. Nearest rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) gets 23 percent, up from 20 last month.
Trump and Cruz are followed by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) with 15 percent, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 13 percent and Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Ben Carson tied at 9 percent.
The last NBC/WSJ poll was, to put it mildly,
and outlier. This once, unsurprisingly, is
one, too. Saturday’s voting should put paid
to this nonsense.

Trump Cruz Rubio is acceptable
I’d still not trust anything with Murdoch’s hands on it.
I’ll say it before all the Trump (BLESSED BE HIS NAME) supporters arrive to say it -— since the polls are all over the place, the ONLY “poll” I’m going to believe coincides with reality is tomorrow’s ACTUAL VOTE.
Repost #3!
WooHoo...
Finally a credible poll amongst all the others that say Trump is still at 35% while Ted is at 18%.
Yippeeeeee....
Come tomorrow night, the WSJ will have lost the last shred of it’s credibility.
This poll is nonsense.
I figured we’d see another poll today with WSJ’s open-borders taint on it designed to boost Cruz morale going into Saturday and get out the vote.
Guess we’ll see tomorrow if it works.
This is not that poll.
If Trump holds in the low-mid 30s, Murdoch & the WSJ’s reputation will be further damaged.
Uh, that is the Cruz preople flailing around saying that they are all over the place.
Now you have one that still shows him losing, and you guys are going to spam the hell out of it because you have nothing left at this point.
The NBC/WSJ polls seem to be out-of-sync with the other polls.
NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll
The establishment desperately wants Rubio in 2nd instead of Cruz.
1. They can try out their one on one matchup and maybe replace Trump at the front.
2. They can position Rubio for 2020 or 2024 as Trump’s VP.
I want a Trump/Cruz ticket and the few “keep Cruz off the ballot” lawsuits in a couple of states now will give Trump his information on Cruz’s viability.
I want Cruz in 2020/24
I’m thinking NBC/WSJ has some sort of systematic problem with their latest set of polls, because they seem to be consistent outliers from literally every other poll coming out, either in SC or at the national level.

So what...if this was a positive Trump poll, we’d be reading the 10th iteration of the post...
Cruz cuts into Trump's SC lead
There is this story right above it.
