An NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll released Friday finds Donald Trump leading the GOP presidential field by only 5 points in South Carolina, down from 16 points a month ago.
The RealClearPolitics average of polls still finds Trump ahead of the pack by double digits going into Saturday's South Carolina primary, but Friday's survey reports Trump has 28 percent support among likely Republican voters, down from 36 percent in January. Nearest rival Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) gets 23 percent, up from 20 last month.
Trump and Cruz are followed by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) with 15 percent, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 13 percent and Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Ben Carson tied at 9 percent.
Yeah OK, the surprise is when Cruz loses you guys still won’t stfu!
Thank you.
Now everyone can see the replies at those links/threads.
I do a search before setting up posts, but it’s not a perfect system.
This poll doesn’t honor anyone.
The very small amount of it that is still sticking to the wall tomorrow night, will still stink like what it is.
You still insist on playing the establioshment’s game.
Pathetic.

Wow...so things have arrived at the point where saying I’ll believe the results of tomorrow’s actual vote over predictions of various polls is “the establishment’s game”? Some here are retreating further and further from sanity.
He still wins, genius.
But hey you have one poll that doesnt have either cruz losing by 10 or falling behind Rubio, so you guys can rally around it with visions of secret ground game armies coming to the rescue, or whatever you guys come up with.
As much as I’d like to see Cruz win SC, there is no valid statistical basis for these poll results (posted dozens of times on FR). They were created the same way global warming data are created - by changing the assumptions until the desired answer appeared.
Note: It is at least possible that Cruz will win SC. He appears to have by far the best GOTV apparatus, and that may give him a well-earned win, but that is speculation and not honest polling.
No that is the myth you Cruzstaians are pimping. That unless Trump wins by double digits it is “a lose”
Winning by .001 is winning. Only a brain dead campaign bot would pimp the myth that the margin of victory matters.
Why do you think that Cruz is part of the establishment?
This is something I will never get. They guy went over the head of the establishment to get his Senate seat. He has been nothing but a thorn in the side of the establishment since he arrived.
Please see this video if you want to see what going against the establishment looks like.
You're implying that Donald Trump worked his way up the ladder and that Ted Cruz just landed in front of the U.S. Supreme Court pleading and winning cases and doesn't have any real world experience?
Not really. You guys put up that the new polls are crap but you die by the 15-20 point polls. Tomorrow will tell that that has bee BS all along. Trump will win tomorrow but as usual the polls are all BS. Ted Cruz 2016! and NO 2nd choice.
Hmm so correcting the habitual lying of the campaign bots is now "failing around"? It seems you failed English Composition 101.
Can’t wait for tomorrow!
Please do everything you can to hang on to the few remaining neurons encompassing your prefrontal cortex!
“Iâll say it before all the Trump (BLESSED BE HIS NAME) supporters arrive to say it -â since the polls are all over the place, the ONLY âpollâ Iâm going to believe coincides with reality is tomorrowâs ACTUAL VOTE.”
Such a crazy notion. Be careful, you may be banned from FR forever.
By the way we all know that Trump is going to get 150% of the vote because he’s GREAT GREAT GREAT and he WINS WINS WINS
I get concerned that these polls that show Donald up big time might be setting him up so if he doesn’t win as big as they predict, they can say he lost and slow his momentum. If you notice, it is always the Murdock polls that show him down. Wouldn’t Globalist Rupert love to be the one who is correct? I just don’t trust polls or pollsters anymore. Things are really bloody!
So that’s two polls which show that Cruz is gaining support in SC.
Cruz may be trending at the right time to make it a close contest and if it’s close, Cruz has some bragging rights and Trump has some explaining to do.
If it were just a poll or two, yeah. But it seems like there are multiple polls per day anymore, and all except the NBC/WSJ polls show the big Trump lead.
Why quibble over polls at this point.
All the soothsayers will be proved wrong or right tomorrow.
Let’s have a day of peace friends.
No, I think maybe you’re intentionally ignoring what I’m saying. I’m not saying Ted Cruz is a bad lwayer, or that becoming a lawyer is easy. Just that private sector success provides a different set of skills than being a lwayer.
