Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, whose empire includes Fox News and The Wall Street Journal, is hitting back at Donald Trump for suggesting that he was using his outlets to conspire against the Republican presidential candidate.
"Trump blames me for [The Wall Street Journal] poll, fights FoxNews. Time to calm down," Murdoch said Thursday on Twitter. "If I [sic] running anti-Trump conspiracy then doing lousy job!"

During a radio interview earlier in the day, Trump said that a WSJ-NBC News poll released this week, which showed him losing his lead nationally for the first time in several months, was "just a Rupert Murdoch hit." Other polls, including ones also released this week, have consistently shown Trump leading the GOP field by large margins.
The Journal's editorial board, though, has published several pieces against Trump, and Trump has also tangled with Fox News throughout the campaign. He even skipped a debate hosted by the network ahead of the Iowa caucuses.
Murdoch, who is known for his conservative-leaning political views, has voiced mixed opinions about Trump in the past. Most recently in December, Murdoch said that the GOP would be "mad" to think of "ganging up" on Trump.
Previously, however, Murdoch has criticized the billionaire business man for his harsh tone on immigration. "Trump wrong," Murdoch said last summer, in the heat of controversy over Trump's now-famous screed against illegal immigrants.

But other than Baier himself, it is hard to find Fox staffers who AREN’T snipping at Trump, interviewing other commentators who AREN’T snarking at Trump, or showcasing other candidates who spend the entire segment harping on Trump.
I mean, I know Mygroin Kelly is their star and all...but it seems the entire well is poisoned over there.

The WSJ is by far the worst. Editorial writers who I have enjoyed for years, are now nothing but paid whores. Then it brings Karl Rove and other traitorous scumbags to write long Trash Trump articles. Really pathetic.
Hey, Jo, CW and I are on opposite sides on this, but I thought the Examiner’s take on this was interesting to see. Murdoch is primarily a print guy. He leaves the TV stuff to others, such as Roger Ailes. So it is going to be interesting to see how he does up against a veteran of twelve years of reality TV.
I’m watching FOX News right now. It doesn’t bother me that they sometimes say things I don’t agree with.
I wrote them off election eve 2008. I got sick of their “open borders” whores like Barnes, and others.

I read the WSJ too and my take is that Brent Stephens and all the rest are just outraged that someone (Trump) has made all their sacred, sublime, self-important little scrivenings as relevant as yesterday’s fishwrap.
Screw them.
p.s. Oddly enough Peggy Noonan seems to be the only one over there with any grasp of what is going on.

BTW, my opinion is quite the opposite. Greta, Bill and Sean always speaking well of Trump. Trump is on FOX News a lot.
