Donald J. Trump, looking to amass as many votes as possible in the South Carolina primary, is increasingly trying to appeal to the state's black voters. In doing so, he appears to hope that any memory of his 2011 demand to see the birth certificate of the nation's first black president is a distant one...
"You look at African-American youth -- I mean, 58 percent unemployment."
"We have an African-American president and he has not done anything for the African-Americans in this country, and he got a free pass and he shouldn't have," Mr. Trump said...
"You look at African-Americans that are 30 years old, 40 years old, 50 years old. Take a look at their statistics, it's very sad."
Mr. Trump's hopes of appealing to black voters was clear in an ad he began running in the state on Friday... an endorsement from Jamiel Shaw Sr., a black man whose 17-year-old son, Jas, was killed... by an undocumented immigrant.

Meaning that registered Democrats, typically a majority among African-American voters, could opt to vote for Trump in this primary, especially if motivated by a desire for jobs.
Mississippi redux?
Meaning what?
Stupid blacks crossed over to eliminate the conservative candidate. But SC is different. For one thing it is a mistake to assume all blacks are stupid. Some will cross and vote for Trump for the right reasons (they don’t like Obama either).
A birth certificate never fed a hungry black child
Winning recipe for Trump in the general ...the Dims are very worried about Trump
I don’t understand your comment. By no means am I implying black voters are inherently stupid. Brainwashed by the Democrats, maybe; but then so are a huge number of white people.
Donald Chump - America’s first Orange President
Trump is using the Mississippi strategy against the establishment.
I think part of Trump running is to get back at Obama for shaming him on the birther issue back in 2011. I doubt Trump has “forgotten” the issue.
If Trump wins I think he will release it all (the secret files) on who Barry Sotero really is. Also the Hilary and Bill files and anyone else who tries to cross him. The only real question I have is whether he will do it against the fake republicans too.
I find it troubling that those of us that still know what natural born citizen means and think we should have stuck to it because the founders were wise enough to include it to protect us are marginalized as “birthers”.
They were rightly concerned about foreign influences on the President.
No foreign citizenships, by parentage or place.
Barack Hussein Obama was born a British subject and told us so.
Ineligible.
Tell me how you think George Washington, John Jay, James Madison, etc, would have thought a British subject was a natural born citizen of the US.
I like your dreams, I hope they become a reality.
“If Trump wins I think he will release it all (the secret files) on who Barry Soetoro really is. Also the Hilary and Bill files and anyone else who tries to cross him.”
Please, God.
I know you didn’t imply that. You merely asked about the Mississippi experience and that resulted from long term brainwashing but also stupidity in blacks not realizing they were just going to be used and discarded.
“Laziness is a trait in blacks.”—Donald Trump
The MSM will have that tattooed on Trump’s forehead by election day.
I think you’re right about that. Sometimes I think that’s why he keeps bringing up Cruz’s eligibility, to get under BO’s skin. If anybody but Trump get’s elected, Obama and Hillary’s crimes will be swept under the rug. Did you hear Obama’s little veiled threat today about how Trump will NEVER be president?
Trump will get the black vote.
I don’t think so unless you’re promoting out and out lies to try and win. Haven’t you had enough of that with Obama?
