TREY GOWDY BLASTS CRUZ CAMPAIGN FOR "SYSTEMATIC EFFORT ... TO SPREAD FALSE INFORMATION"
The notion that U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas is running a dirty campaign picked up steam this week in early-voting South Carolina - widely regarded as the home of dirty political tricks.
There, U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy - who is supporting the campaign of U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida - blasted Cruz in no uncertain terms for allegedly mounting a "systematic effort" to spread "false information and outright lies" about his rivals.
"In the last week, we have seen a systematic effort by Sen. Cruz and his allies to spread false information and outright lies in the hopes of winning votes by appealing to our lowest common denominator," Gowdy said.
"Now, its been reported that a fake Facebook page has been used to fool South Carolinians into thinking that I no longer support Marco Rubio and that I'm instead supporting Ted Cruz."
"Nothing could be further from the truth," Gowdy added, issuing a demand for Cruz to "repudiate these dishonest and underhanded tactics."

Amnesty whore Gowdy, turning tricks again. The sooner this parasite, and his BS “country-lawyer” routine, are off the national stage, the better.
So, Gowdy is showing to be a hypocrite of the highest order. His rooster strutting act in the Benghazi hearings was just that, nothing but an act just like so many of the republicans including the “”Fast and Furious” hearings, the IRS hearings and and they are all nothing but wimps. Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and a few others are the only republican legislators that have balls.
Wow.. Gowdy and whobio? I was wrong, thought he was one of the good guys. I watched him on a few hearings, thought he was not the gope. Better to know now, kinda like learning will the real trump shady please stand up. In fairness, I rembered trump from 2000... Anti constitutional and exploiting wealth from his deal making with the powerful, unaccountable deal makers.
