Rush Limbaugh stood by Florida Senator Marco Rubio on Monday, defending the senator's thrice-repeated "memorized 25-second speech." During Saturday's GOP debate, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie attacked Rubio for his canned responses, all of which centered around the theme that President Obama "knows what he's doing" in his attempts to transform this country.
Let's dispel, once and for all, this fiction that Barack Obama doesn't know what he's doing. He knows exactly what he's doing. Barack Obama is undertaking a systematic effort to change this country -- to make America more like the rest of the world. It was a great soundbite, and Rubio's speechwriters knew it. The Florida senator repeated this quote, nearly verbatim, two more times throughout the debate, playing right into Christie's hands. At one point, Christie cut him off, declaring, "There it is -- the 25-second speech!"
Limbaugh defended Rubio's point, however, and explained why governors like Christie find it such a threat. Republicans "inside the beltway," the "establishment elites," do not see that the country is in crisis, Limbaugh explained.

I really like Rush, but he is so far off in Left field on Dubio.
It opens him up to ridicule on his comments on other candidates also.
He needs to let Rubio go. He isn’t worth it.

Rush thinks he made a mistake.. We all know Rubio is for amnesty.. He even says it when he spoke on Unavision!! Trump said in 2012 that Romney was too tough on immigration!!!!
Rush is very good on many things.
What’s funny, is that like Bush, they get trounced by some people for being rabidly right.
Rush is actually a moderate. On some things he’s every good, and other things he’s luke warm.
I honestly do like the guy. I don’t always have to agree with him to like him. He doesn’t frustrate me at times though. He could certainly be a lot more help.
This Rubio thing he has going is very unfortunate IMO.
I think all of the people who are paid for analysis are just kind of flailing about. They really don’t get it. There’s the anger on the Dem side about the middle class, and they just want free stuff and income redistribution.
But there’s anger on our side too, because the fact of the matter is that 30 years of amnesty and NAFTA and now the impending TPP agreement have been brutal on the prospects of a normal life for people who just want to work hard for an honest living.
No one is making this the centerpiece of their campaign like Trump is. “Conservatives” like Cruz and Rubio have been paying lipservice to middle class conservatives for decades now and have done nothing to undo the damage of open borders and disastrous trade agreements.
I don’t dislike Rush, but it’s obvious he’s seriously disconnected this election cycle. Most people who are paid one way or another by the status quo system don’t seem to be able to comprehend that people have had it.

I think they hear a rumble, but they don’t understand it’s a 7.2 instead of a 1.7.

We’re not talking about a fringe group here. This is the White Middle Class bedrock of this nation, it’s it’s spitting lightening bolts.
GOPe and fellow travelers, it’s over. Pack it up and move one. We’re taking over folks.
Rush is being forced to acknowledge the GOPe candidates by the estab ..it’s gotten so bad, that Rush was citing a Jeb internal poll saying that Cruz is doing well ...it’s surreal .. I think that the Bushies are putting immense pressure on Rush

I probably listen to Rush more in a week than the ones attacking me listen in a year. In the course of a 3 hour show, he manages to make just about everybody think he's for some other guy.

Trump is the big story, and he needs to grasp why. So far, I see no indication he does.

Rush has become something of a low info talk show host, in my opinion. I am often stunned at how behind the curve he is from normal Freepers, regarding current affairs.
To still be giving the traitor Rubio any kind of allowance, is simply dem/lib stupid, and makes Rush look a fool.
Did he not hear all of Rubio’s commercials selling the Gang of 8 amnesty bill in 2013? If not, why not? If he did, WTF? - over.
lol. I get crap from Cruz fans (can’t say cult anymore) all the time. They humor me. They are the most unstable group I have ever seen. It amazes me that some are my FRiends on here no joke......well be cool after the primary but it is unsettling to see typical intelligent FREEPERS fall for Cruz’s kool aid hard. I mean they have their feet in the ground and everything. Very sad to see. I think they just see the sermons and love him. Very weird to see people supporting a straight up liar and a cheat and a snake.
A lot of Freepers have discussed this in the past and most agree that Obama is not as dumb as we would like to think, maybe he is, but he was the chosen won to make that transformation and he knew that as well. He was just following orders.
