Wow, your stats kill me. 28 out of the past 35 years, these Bushes and Clontons have been in the administration. This must end.
It was Richard Allen who was the go between with Reagan and Bush. At the last minute Allen phoned Bush and asked him if he could/would completely support the entire 1980 platform. Bush agreed and the rest is history. Reagan was hesitant because of the “voodoo economics” charge and Bush’s seemingly support of abortion.
Jeb was used by the elder Bushes and now self-medicates with drugs and alcohol. Sick man.

Someone posted that Yebbie!s goofy looks and actions are those of a cokehead.
The book is being released today. Just checked....hardcover is already #1 in new releases and the Kindle edition is #3.
It's amazing that most of us hadn't heard of the book until yesterday.
They just kinda seem to want to let that crazy bag of rats be off in the corner where nobody talks about it.
Shhhhhh! don’t talk about it. We know he’s the crazy uncle/brother/aunt/sister.....we just don’t talk about it, okay? :0)
I ordered mine hardcover, can’t wait for the delicious read. Is it well-referenced? Cruz was a lawyer involved with the GWB administration. Does he get pulled in?
I really like Cruz and I like Trump and am going to vote for Trump in my state primary soon. If Cruz wins and gets the nomination, I’ll eagerly and proudly support him.
What amazes me here is the claims by ardent Cruzers here that us “Trumpers, Trumpets, Trumpettes, etc.” make wild leaps of logic and will take any BS Trump hands out and excuse it. Yet, virtually in those same breaths they take a disturbing story line about the Bush family and bravely come to their defense - all because they don’t want to admit that maybe some of things Trump says about the family may be true, or at least worth gaining another perspective on.
Imagine. Effectively supporting Jeb Bush (the Mexican) because they have to defend the Bush legacy and demean Trump. The legacy that gave us Gulf War 1 (Iraq takedown unfinished), Iraq, DHS, TSA, increased NSA eavesdropping, ignored the economy, didn’t defend Democrat attacks, NEVER SAID ONE WORD in the last 7 years about the travesty that is Obama (W) and more.
They can call all this what they want, but in the end, it is a defense of Jeb Bush and his proposed policies.
Oh dear, you’ve got my interest piqued. I’m going to have to see how much a Kindle purchase will be.
Timing is everything. Guess they were going to see what happened with the first two primaries. If he had dropped out there probably wouldn’t have been much interest. The GOPe will probably be needing a continuous supply of fresh undies after this starts spreading.
Without knowing the precise reason, one can safely assume it was to secure the nomination (by getting his delegates and/or securing the support of the GOP establishment) instead of increasing odds of winning the General Election or adding value in governing after victory.
You don’t know jackshit
There a lot of smoke there and perhaps some fire but no one person can snort 500 grams of cocaine in one weekend
Our 75 year old cat ladies who know nothing about such things will shudder and take that as gospel
As one who is pretty familiar with that era and cocaine as a participant I’d say a few ounces in a weekend for one person is a helluva lot
500 grams is one pound and nearly two ounces in total
No way
My dad would have loved all this. He had that Mena tape way back in what 93/94?
Mine is fatboy
You’re so right. i find repeatedly that Cruz supporters do not apply logic at all. They are far too overboard for their candidate to tolerate anything which may distract from his perceived angelic status. “”Hypocrites applies to most of them.
“You don’t know jackshit”
