Woo-Hoo, thanks ladies!
GO NAS! I LIVE IN JAX! 5 MINUTE WALK FROM NAS!!!
I didn’t realize that NAS Jacksonville was that big. 23,000 military and civilians.
That is probably larger than Pensacola.
Good evening, Connie, and thanks for the tributes to our troops. *HUGS*
Is commuting warming up? Critters staying out of the way?
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
Naval Air Station Jacksonville (NAS Jax) was officially commissioned Oct. 15, 1940, when Capt. Charles Mason raised his pennant as NAS Jacksonvilleâs first commanding officer.
NAS jax is pretty big. My sister and my BIL used to work there. I lived a couple of miles away and went on base a few times. NAS Mayport at the beach is pretty good sized too.
Thanks for recognizing NAS Jax! seved there for about 12 years before retiring. Played a round of golf there just this afternoon..
Good evening, Pro...hope you had a good day.
Good evening, MLL...that’s really close. Lots of planes overhead?? LOL!
Hi Ma, it was a great 65 degree day!
Howdy, gal! Hope you and the kittehs have had a good Monday!
Good evening, yarddog...another military facility in your state.
Not at this time. They are redoing the air strips. All flights are being rerouted to Cecil. But the Blue Angel air show is always cool to see AND HEAR!
