There should be no audience. It’s not a necessity. It was disgusting.

We can agree on that if the debate audience is to be cheerleaders then there should have been 6 equal section one for each candidate or they should shut up.

That crowd was disgusting and shameful.
The point of a debate is to hear what they have to say and not be booed at every point they are making.

I said last night that the next debate the crowd should be gone as it was disgusting and made a mockery of a debate.

Agree, no “live” audience is necessary. In fact, they are a distraction/

And the RNC & DNC says ...but, but the donors.

“There should be no audience. It’s not a necessity. It was disgusting.”

Here’s an idea (if there IS to be an audience at all): each candidate is given the number of available tickets proportionate to their standings in the polls used by the debatemeisters to determine eligibility and podium order.

Trump should insist on it.

The whole debate set up is a GOP bashing opportunity that the RNC sets up every election. With friends like the RNC, who needs the Demonrats.

I don’t mind an audience as long as they behave like adults in a dignified manner.

For example, it’s OK to applaud when a candidate gives an answer you strongly agree with. But the constant yelping and “woo-hooing” after every answer a favorite candidate gives is annoying and reminds me of High School graduation ceremonies in recent years that are ruined by over-zealous family and “fans” of certain graduates who seem to just want to out-cheer the other grad’s “fan’s.”

I agree. Last night was the first time I thought the audience was a pain. They didn’t cheer at the end, they were off sometimes, just terrible.
