W managed to tick off just about every group in America. Bashing him is not a loser and takes that away from the Rat candidate in November. Trump is already running for November and will not be tied down defending Bush. If he is the nominee the election will not be about Bush, which is what the Rats want it to be about.
I would expect any president to be pissed than any former president had been targeted for assassination. I would expect retaliation even if the target were Clinton or 0bama.

09/11 was too big an event to simply pass up comment on.
I view 09/11 as more of Clinton’s responsibility, but eight months is a long time. I think Bush bares some measure of ownership.
Where I really throw the book at Bush, is his willingness to accept an actual increase in Saudi Students here on VISAs. IMO < that was just a clear case of ignoring the threat.
Seventeen “students” pulled 09/11 off. Bush increased the number of Saudis here on those VISAs to over 30,000.
That’s where I would criticize him. We were extremely luck not to have a repeat of violence.
And we are the ones that lost our airports to the “check-point charlie” mentality.
I still don’t think homeland security is worth a damn.
I have very seldom been impressed by the security crews at the airports I’ve flown out of.
Some of the choices they make for extra scrutiny are just nutty.
My wife was a very pretty woman. She would get chosen about 50% of the time we flew.
I’d try to stay nearby for her protection and support, and I would be ordered to leave or else.
So no, I’m not a big Bush fan in relation to 09/11, at all.

I know that Bush didn’t “keep us safe” on 9-11. Could he have prevented the attack? You don’t know that a smarter and more engaged, and less PC president, might not have been more on the ball than Bush was.

Glengarry Glenross is a movie that still puts a pit in the stomach while watching it. I understand it was a play at first. Must have been wonderful. As for the movie, the acting was fantastic. All dialogue driven. Jack Lemmon was great in describing the sale to “Ricky” Ah...should get it outo fhte collection and watch it again.
