A six-count criminal complaint was filed Thursday in Las Vegas against Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy stemming from the April 2014 armed standoff with federal law enforcement officers.

Bundy, 69, who was arrested in Portland, Oregon, late Wednesday, was charged with leading a "massive armed assault" against authorities outside his ranch to force them to abandon roughly 400 Bundy cattle they had rounded up.

He had "trespassed his cattle" on federal public lands for more than 20 years, refusing to pay for required permits and thwarting federal court orders, the complaint alleges.

"Bundy was the leader, organizer and chief beneficiary of the conspiracy, possessing ultimate authority over the scope, manner and means of the conspiratorial operations and receiving economic benefits of the extortion," the complaint states.

Terrific. This gets the mess into court where the government’s duplicity will be on parade.

Paging Matt Bracken (aka: Travis McGee), and “What I saw at the Coup”.

I bet the feds would just love to “disappear” the entire Bundy bloodline.

The Fed are doing this now because they just Murdered or jailed the people who would have started another revolt against them. They are now clear to proceed with the takedown of those who dissed them.

Bundy was busted in Portland.

That means he gets a Portland jury.

Oh Good. The Feds now claim that asserting your land rights is “extortion”, in which the poor, pitiful Federal Government of the United States is the Saintly Victim.

How awful it must be to be the Injured Party, “intimidated” by a bunch of ranchers with...cows.

Time to bring out all those recent arrivals from foreign lands who got Affirmative Action in hiring for the FBI, and take care of these Evil White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Racists who just don’t understand their place!

Paging Lon Horiuchi, aggrieved representative of the Imperial Japanese Empire....

We need to how the fed acquired the land in question. Federal ownership of land is limited by the Constitution.

“How awful it must be to be the Injured Party, “intimidated” by a bunch of ranchers with...cows.”

While the BLM/like ‘mgmt’ continues its pathetic ‘stewardship’ (out of control wild-fires [no thinning/controlled burns], etc.), it disallows that which a property OWNER would enhance (how many years/studies have shown that cows INCREASED desert tortoise populations, kept things more ‘under control’ by grazing)...

Yep, $$ WELL theft, I mean spent.

Are you sure about that? I am guessing the Feds had a sealed indictment out on him, just waiting for an opportunity. I honestly don’t know if they take him back to his original federal district, or not.

All that showed up at the Bundy Ranch

You can be sure that the feds have dossiers on all of them, and are just biding their time before making more arrests. The question is, how will they respond when the feds come for them?

Going up to Oregon wasn’t a very wise decision on his part then. Or did he really think that the feds had forgotten about 2014?

Not necessarily. The offense was committed in Nevada. He'll probably be tried in federal court there.

I am not sure who is left to run the ranch now. I think they are drooling and will probably be able to get it from them in court if nothing else.

This is a huge tragedy. Not only will they get all the ranches out of this in both Oregon and Nevada but the families will be devastated with so many members in prison.

Cliven may never see the light of day again. Or his beloved ranch.

I am very upset about this.

Well that includes a lot of powerful folk in oathkeepers who hold office. So time will tell.

If true, that they will go after those at the ranch, I think that second civil war could be right around the corner.
