Heidi Cruz said Wednesday that her husband, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), was showing America "the face of the God that we serve" through his faith-based Republican presidential campaign.
Golly!
I wonder why???
People QuickFacts | Iowa | USA | |
---|---|---|---|
White alone, percent, 2014 (a) | 92.1% | 77.4% | |
Black or African American alone, percent, 2014 (a) | 3.4% | 13.2% |
Are we to assume; using you as an example; that OTHER agnostics will be 'turned off' as well?
My; what thin skin you have!
Report for WHAT?
Daring to respond to you in a manner that does not bow to your superior thinking???
>>Do we have any ‘Sacred Honor’ any more?
“Truth is great and will prevail; errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to ________ them”
Depends on what folks are willing to sacrifice to fill in the blank I suppose.
I need help; too.
Perhaps if we go together we can get a group rate.
I don’t assume too much; but I do like to point out where others assume things.
There ya go...
The only face Cruz reminds me of is that of “the Penguin” as played by Burgess Meredith. I wish someone would post pics of both.
Let me repeat:
"We got Obama the second time."
We also got Hillary's husband the second time.
Think there are enough Independent/uncommitted folks to ever swing this country back to the Right?
I assumed so. IT happens ;-)
Just this once; then you can do it...
Did these 'southerners' vote for Obama?
Now you're talking about southerners who voted for Romney. You're all over the place and not making any sense.
Burgess Meredith in the purple topper.
Dang it!
When ya say ‘Southerners’ that kinda lumps them all together.
The lump is all I can address.
He also knows we'll fail - hence His Grace and forgiveness.
That's not to confuse Forgiveness of sin with Permission to sin, however -- as the homosexual community does. They operate not in the Repentant and Forgiven body of Christ -- but against that body in the spirit of anti-Christ.
Matt 5:17-20
17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
NIV
Heb 12:1
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

You entered a conversation where I was talking about southern evangelicals and how they were likely to vote in the GOP primaries. And those evangelicals would be mostly white.
In 2012, SC went for Gingrich, then he lost to Romney in Florida. Then, most southern states voted after Romney was considered the winner. Still, Alabama and several other states went for Santorum. I don't know that any southern state voted for Romney while the primary was still competitive.
Then, all southern states voted for Romney in the general election.
I think this year Trump will best Cruz in most all southern states, even among evangelicals because Cruz's Elmer Gantry, tent revival act will not go over well, and also, many southern evangelicals agree with Trump on immigration and one-sided trade deals.
Maybe that orients us to the southern evangelicals I was discussing initially.
