MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is out with a deceptive new mailer that masquerades as official government business and promises people there's a "check enclosed" when it's actually asking for money instead.

A New Jersey resident sent The Huffington Post the latest piece of mail he received from Cruz's campaign. The envelope appears to have come from Cruz's Senate office and has his name printed the same way it often is for Senate business. In small type the mailer clarifies that it is for "personal" matters and was not sent at taxpayers' expense. It also promises a check...

Cruz seems hellbent on diminishing his credibility. If his position is clear, true and strong, mailings like this are just not necessary.

Sorry kiddies, I’ve been getting that kind of thing for years. That’s because once you give to pol parties or pol individuals you get flooded with this cr*p. Any who haven’t gotten it only label themselves as non political donors.

Lol! The pearl-clutching morons on the left are merely showing their primal fear of the only real conservative in the race that will hold their leftist feet to the fire when he gets elected. Same ole, same ole and per usual...

bullsquat.

...Cruz has a bunch of former junk mail con-men working for him.

Yes, that's what I believe.  The guys behind this are probably the same staffers who sent out the "Voter Violation" mailing in Iowa and spread the word that Carson was out of the race.

But Cruz himself is innocent.   A conservative Christian like him would never approve of low ball tactics like this.

These were mailed to people’s homes.
The fact that it’s mentioned on HuffPo is inconsequential.
In my view it’s lame...the kind of stuff done for peddling replacement windows and vinyl siding.

You would think this was the Huff-n-puff posts first exposure to any sort of election mailers and that the author of this article just got of the ship from Alpha Centarus.

LOL!

Sometimes I get envelopes that say "Urgent!" on them and, guess what, they're NOT!

So, Trump can slime Cruz of being ineligible, voter fraud in Iowa, and you all cheer him on, but Ted Cruz sends out a typical fund-raising mailer and he’s the devil incarnate? That’s some mighty strong Kool-Aid you be drinking there!

It’s lame. It’s the kind of thing you expect from lame outfits. That’s how they peddle vinyl siding and replacement windows.

Ted’s got way more class than this stuff.

No insult intended. I just think because of your dislike for Cruz I believe certain of you are losing all perspective where he is concerned.

Its getting ridiculous. IMO.

I got one of these a couple days ago. As I predicted, when I opened it, the check was not made out to me.

They know damn with all the elderly, probably upwards of 15 million on fixed incomes have dementia or are being treated for it.

Very slick ploy.

What a Joke... the caterwauling over a stupid political mailer?

Really? When the Leading Supposed Republican has made a majority of his money by getting in bed with the Likes of George Soros and the large Bankers on Wall Street that WE bailed out and has flipped on more issues than Hillary Clinton?

When One of the leading Establishment Candidates WROTE an Amnesty Bill with the help of 4 Rat Senators?

When another of the Chosen Establishment Candidates said he would run without the Base and that criminal Invasion and granting Amnesty is a Act of Love?

This is what you want to whine, bitch and moan about?
