Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton just gave his critics all the ammunition they need.
Already under fire for how he conducts himself on the field, Newton went silent after his team's 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Super Bowl 50, sulking at the podium and essentially refusing to answer questions.

I agree that he brought race into it needlessly, and though my wife would have won some money if he won I was happy to see him lose for that one reason (and I’ll concede he is a great QB). At the end of the game his youth, not race, showed through with his hissy-fit; hope he learns from that.
my daughter lives in Charlotte and I sent her this:
he needs to get of outta ghetto...Told ya Ash last week they were going to lose with the way he acted in Charlotte...very dis-respectable of his team and coach with his early, over the top “winning” antics on the side lines. He needs to grow just a little humility...he has talent...but he is so over the top when HE is winning but no where to be found when the TEAM let him down and they lose...he is the big LOSER! Man oh man - a hero in his minds! Charlotte deserves better! Hate to be the coach of that guy!
Ghetto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he has the makings of a great QB. He’s still pretty young. I expect by the time he’s Manning’s age he’ll be fine. Tough time to be emotionally calm.
That game was over in the first ten minutes. If you are going to run your mouth, best to wait until after you have won.
"HGH, you taste so good!" -- Sung to the Nationwide theme.
LOL!
#SoreLoserNewton
Eli looked strangely glum in the box when the family was shown at the end of the game. Bragging rights? :)
so, by that standard, you would like the entire world to judge you by everything you did when you were 18 or 19 years old, right?
Are you sure “former” is appropriate moniker?
“Immaturity. Classless move. An adult doesnât do this.”..........
He is 26 years old and by all “standards” IS AN ADULT. Although a good player and one who more than likely has been pampered and told he was “special” all his life thinks he is invincible, he was WRONG!. There are mature adults and immature adults and Newton’s actions and demeanor only prove his has no class, hes only a sore loser.

I don't care for her, but she did an outstanding job.

hmmm..... black boy, black hoodie. the profile is of a criminal
My favorite SB moment of all time is Brees tearing up after hoisting his son on his shoulders, Brees is class. (Of course I am a Saints fan though)
“leave that alone”
First of all, I have not attacked Newton. Looked to me he lost track of the ball and had a brain freeze for a second.
Despite your whinging and whining when Cam went to the ground his lineman #67 went for the ball and his hand knocked it into Cam’s left leg and for an instant he had a shot at it.
Try actually looking at the replay.
I switched halfway through that halftime show and didn’t see this...first thing that came to my mind, too, seeing this.
I did notice, in the beginning, when the Navy choir sang America the Beautiful, he was fidgeting, chomping gum with mouth open, etc. Very little reverence, or at leas keeping still. Camera panned to Manning, there he was, solemn, hand over heart and thoughtful.
Peyton Manning as well. Even at 26.
Pride cometh before a fall..
Dab that
