Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton just gave his critics all the ammunition they need.
Already under fire for how he conducts himself on the field, Newton went silent after his team's 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Super Bowl 50, sulking at the podium and essentially refusing to answer questions.

You didn’t get a fair game? Huh? What was “unfair” about it?
Go to your first red flag and figure it out.
I didn’t read much of this thread. I didn’t realize you are a Panthers fan. I’m sorry for your loss. I like the Panthers, although I did root for the Broncos because of Peyton Manning. I’ve always been a fan of his. However, this is one Super Bowl where I wasn’t hate watching or rooting against a team I wanted to lose. I would have been ok with Carolina winning. They had a great season.
I don’t think Cam is a bad guy at all. I like how he gives the balls to kids in the stands after he scores. I saw a Make A Wish video where he was great with the kid. He’s getting ripped good right now on social media. I think he’s young, came in too cocky, and wants to win badly. He thought they were going to be able to do what they did all year, and when they couldn’t, he was visibly frustrated. He’s very talented and has a good team around him, so I think the Panthers will be good next year. He can learn from this experience, and maybe next year they will be back in the Super Bowl.
If you want to bitch about this game, have a memory to back it up.
Charlotte caught that ball and the powers that be said no.
Horse Shit!! Every damn camera angle made that a catch!
You scored the fumble on the next play!
I’ll say this. I did count three calls that went against the Panthers that could have helped from the false start, the pass interference, and the call in the endzone of interference when the ball seemed uncatchable.
Did they even watch video of their earlier Playoff games?
Seriously? Are you trying to take some heat off Cam by acting like even more of a baby than he is? That was 1 play. Let’s assume for the sake of argument that it should have been complete, I’m sure we could find several calls or non-calls that went in Carolina’s favor. Evidently your argument is that all it takes is for 1 play to not go their way early in a game and they don’t have the fight or determination to overcome it. Such immaturity can only come from lack of leadership. Hey, wait a minute...I think you’ve stumbled upon their problem! Lol
He isn’t cocky here in Charlotte. The Media does that.
Actually, when you hit the roads like I do he isn’t anywhere.
It’s Keuckly and the others on defense.
The Broncos won and it was with help.
If you think that call was correct just say so.
I am also kicking one jackass out of the game for pulling a facemask to the ground.
Rubio, is that you?
I’m not assuming a damn thing. The powers that be cheated.
Welcome to California and expect to be robbed.
That's a Photoshop. Curious? Click here.
I've got a sneaking suspicion that any black man named "Cam Newton" isn't down for it either. Which may be the root of his attitude problem.
That’s why you don’t get cocky.
Cameron is all about the game. The cheat was slight.
Denver won that game.
I commented elsewhere, right after they showed him on the sidelines towards the end of the game, that he looked shell shocked.
You lost me at Rubio and welcome to California? Huh? As for the play in question I did think it was a catch. So? Again, we could go through the game and find calls that went the Panthers way. And you want a player tossed out of a game for the first time ever for a facemask? So now you want refs to just make up rules as the game goes along to your liking? Lol Not even baby Cam is blaming the refs. GAWD you ARE more of a sore loser than he is.
As for the play in question I did think it was a catch. So?
7 point swing.
Get a grip!
7 point swing? Really? Even if the Panthers get the call, the exact same thing happens on the next play for all you know. All kinds of questionable calls and non-calls happen in every game. The Broncos manhandled Cam last time they played, they did it again this time and they would do it again tomorrow. END of story.
