Chris Mathews has an odd take on life.
Clearly the booze got to him a long time ago.
Not just a temporary impairment, but a very decidedly long-term effects on critical thinking and reasoning power.

Chris Matthews called it "strange" and said it was "not a human response."
Well, the dizzy blonde ought to know all about 'strange' and what is "not a human response."

Obama DOES know exactly what he is doing - trying to single
handedly change the U.S. into a Communist/Muslim dictatorship through every means at his & Valerie Jarret’s
disposal.

Yeah, he sucked in contrast to, say, Chris Christie -- I hate to say that, what with FR's being crawling with Christie fans -- but do keep in mind that Pissy Chrissie is going to act like the partisan media shill (PMS) that he is.
Rejoinder:

What was funny is one of the news sites pointed this out a couple days before the debate. It seems that Rubio gives the exact same stump speech at every campaign stop, and I don't mean the same speech as other candidates do when they hit generally the same points and might have the same signature slogans. I mean the same speech in that every single word, facial expression and pacing in the speech was identical down to the exact same jokes in the exacts same spots. It was creepy, the two appearances side by side could have been a recording they were so identical....

‘...but Matthews saying that Obama makes âlegâ tingle is perfectly normal.’
my exact first thought.

I don’t like Rubio as a candidate at all, but I watched the exchange and it didn’t seem that bad to me.
It just seemed like Rubio was insisting on his point that Obama’s policies are not based in ignorance, but in a dastardly plan. He certainly could have added some better support for the statement.
Conservatives have been saying the same thing for most of Obama’s time in office.
I don’t get all the hullaballoo, but it’s fine since I don’t want him rising. I’d prefer he stall right about where he is.

Mecha... Rubio... replicant ...weird little robot.
Chris Mathews is right on this one... it was as if some programmer kept accidentally hitting ‘repeat’... AND the mecha - Rubio - knew better but couldn’t stop himself - same phrases over and over and over.
Mecha, Rubio, replicant... strange stuff.

Rubio will not be President. He's an anemic candidate. In such desperate times as these, we need a strong, highly intelligent fighter like Donald Trump.
I saw the clips of Rubio's repetitions on a Yack Show today--Chris Matthews, Todd Something-or-other--Andrea Mitchell--that bunch.
Matthews cannot understand what a mediocre mind his is.
He also cannot understand (among many other things) why Rubio's continuously repeating that Barak Obama knows exactly what he's doing was not a falter. Constant repetition can sometimes get a point across to a dumb or stubborn listener, can even penetrate, sometimes, denial, willful ignorance, and low unintelligence.
Rubio might have penetrated the skulls of some viewers who hadn't been able to grasp this truth.
Matthews merely showed that his skull is too dense for even constant repetition to penetrate. He's still trying to figure out why Rubio kept repeating the same message. He hasn't even begun to understand the message.
Can't these TV outlets get intelligent people for their shows? Probably. But they probably want mediocre minds to repeat the propaganda. Anyone too intelligent might understand and speak the truth, which is the last thing these people want.

How can anyone think politician speak is "strange"? It's the most common element in the universe.
The way people react when they're not prepared or stunned or momentarily out of it is common -- maybe even universal.
Remember Rick Perry in the 2012 debates.
I remember one candidate for lesser office falling eerily silent in a debate a few years's back as well.
Being glib and having something to say -- no matter how inane -- about everything is also (sadly) human.
Being at one extreme and not seeing humanity on the other is what's not all that "human."
