After Iowa, Trump Showing off Effort to Win in New Hampshire
ABC News ^ | Feb. 6, 2016 | JILL COLVIN AND JEFF HORWITZ, ASSOCIATED PRESS

"It's really about asking them whether they're going to get out and vote on Tuesday and whether they support Mr. Trump," McGough said. He said he had made 1,150 calls for Trump on Wednesday alone.

Kevin Bray, 51, another volunteer, said he had driven more than 20 hours in the rain from Nixa, Missouri, after seeing the results in Iowa.

"Iowa happened and I woke up really irritated," he said. "I said, you know, I want to make a difference." He said he arrived on Wednesday morning and told Trump's team to put him to work.

In a back room of the office, a white board displays ambitious goals for each day.

On Thursday, the team aimed to make 30,000 calls and knock on 2,500 doors. By early afternoon, campaign officials said they were partway to their goals. Their seven teams of volunteers sent to neighborhoods across the state had reported knocking on 823 doors so far.

On Friday, campaign staff hoped to boost the number to 5,000, as more than 100 new volunteers arrived from states such as New York and Pennsylvania to help. The team has run out of the 20,000 cards it printed to hand out during visits and was printing 25,000 more.

"I think look, we'll take nothing for granted," said Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, a New Hampshire resident overseeing the effort.

Trump supporters-- start making plans to help in any primary state you can reach. I worked for RNC in DC during Dubya's first run, and it was not only exciting and intense, it was also a chance to meet a lot of other conservatives. Talking with others helped me clarify some positions I had doubts or misunderstandings about.

Yeah, Trump wants to win so bad in New Hampshire that he is a no-show to his own events just because of a little snow...prompting Jeb Bush to poke fun at the Donald with the following:

Good for them, Trump needs a big win in NH to maintain his big lead in SC and NV.

I’m surprised there wasn’t more of a socialization aspect to the Iowa caucuses. Supporters already had bonding experiences with the rallies. You’d think they would’ve embraced the opportunity to get together and share rally experiences.

This is encouraging that Trump supporters aren’t taking NH for granted. We’ve got to win. Go Trump!

Jeb Bush “poking fun” at Trump? Was Jeb’s momma standing behind him when he did it?

Wow...I guess Trump figured out he needs a real ground game to win instead of flying around in his jet making speeches.

He seems like he is learning to operate like a politican rather than an image brand maker...

Will Jeb drag everybodys 90 year old mother out in a snowstorm on their walkers when the other kids are picking on him?

This is encouraging - both to Trump but to countless Conservatives as well. We do make a difference; we must at least make the attempt to start doing our part. This is Our Country - Treat it as such, work at making it better.

Go TRUMP. BTW his Rally in SC last night was terrific. His sincerity with the packed venue in telling them he needed their vote has not been heard as loudly prior.
Thanks for the ping

What’s the next state Cruz is expected to “win” in?

RCP shows it’s not even close in S.C.
Avg Trump 36.0
Cruz 19.0
Rubio 12.7

Loved the HS kids with the T-R-U-M-P shirts. You don’t see that at a Bush rally.

Pray America wakes

Looking at the 28 different sources RCP used for their data analysis in S.C.,,,not ONE of them shows Cruz winning. One even shows Graham winning +2.

I see St. Cruz’s one delegate lead going away in just a few short days.

IF Trump continues on like this, like the original Trump taking on troublesome issues and those that created them I will be very happy. I had become disenchanted when he became so obsessed with smashing Cruz.

This all started when he disenginously misrepresented what Cruz meant by NY values and then kept pounding through the Carson situation. Calling him a cheater, a liar and asking for a redo.

I really was for Trump from the very beginning til that point. Should Trump not win the nomination I would be a lukewarm Cruz supporter. So I am quite happy that appears that Trump is going to be bringing more substance and focusing on taking out GOPe candidates.

I feel Trump has best chance of crushing Hillary, winning with a mandate, and uniting all the groups the Dems have created, pitting them against each other and getting them to see each other as the enemy.

I live near Ferguson, MO....it was a nice city, with some problems as all have, but nothing like it was portrayed by Obama, his media and the liberals. Unfortunatly all that came their way has hurt them and been a big setback.

I hope Trump has a slamdunk, substance filled debate tonight!!!
