Sorenson later pledged to his chiefs and officers he wouldn't have another drink while he was the commanding officer. However, the report said he told the officers that they all shared responsibility for allowing him to drink too much.
Rum, sodomy, and the lash...
What could go wrong with women on ships, women in combat roles, and men having a drink!
Oh yea besides women getting pregnant on these ships, sexual harassment, flirting in the ranks, special treatment given out, rapes are at an all time high on men by homosexuals and women by men.
Yep another day in the fairy boys world where it is all pixies and gold dust.
The US Navy is strong enough to absorb a few ruffians...

As a sailor myself, I’m shocked to hear of members of the Navy kicking back and enjoying themselves. Sounds like another smear on our guys in uniform. Were those who felt harassed “lesbians?” Just curious.
Nearly 75% overall of pregnancies among enlisted women in the Navy are unplanned
Every year between 1 in 10 and 1 in 5 women in the US Navy get unplanned pregnant
It’s ridiculous
Huge money waste and cost in military preparedness
The media and military loathe shedding any negative light on womyn or gays or minorities in the service
The truth is hard to get to
Like women pilot crash rates....try that one out for fun
Obama’s purging of the officer corps continues.
Why should the *Tailhookers* have all the fun?
Wow, that was one hell of a party.
At one point in the night, the investigation found, Sorenson was sitting alone with a female crew member outside the pub and asked her to perform a sex act on him. The sailor told investigators she thought he was joking, and replied she would if he would award her a surface warfare officer pin she was under a time crunch to secure. Sorenson said he wouldn't do that, but he persisted in asking if she would have sex with him and then if she would let him perform another sex act on her.
"Capt. Sorenson then began asking about her sexual history, asking questions about how many people she had slept with and whether she was sexually attracted to women," the investigation says. "(Name redacted) claims Capt. Sorenson told her - in a matter similar to giving an order - to come to his cabin in the middle of the night and see what he does when she tries to wake him up."
Another crew member who witnessed part of the interaction said it resembled a scene from one of the Navy's training videos about preventing sexual assault, the investigation says. It also says Sorenson left the woman only because other officers recognized from appearances alone that it wasn't appropriate for the two of them to be together for so long on the bench.
Sorenson continued to use vulgar language on the van ride home, at one point asking the driver whether he liked anal sex. Sorenson later told investigators he didn't recall asking that question but conceded it might have happened. Sorenson said any inappropriate comments would have been in the context of what the Navy is demanding from its crew and weren't intended to be sexual.
A drunken sailor?
I DON’T CARE !!!!!!
Is anyone else bothered by the number of military officers that have been investigated/demoted etc during the Obama Administration?
Some observations:
1.) This officer is a dumb ass. Sheesh. They shared the responsible for him drinking too much? What a tool. Being a Captain of a ship is a privilege and a responsibility. You are a Captain of a ship. You have to be responsible for your ship, your mission, your crew, and yourself. Period. I have no problem with a Captain having a good time, but I fully believe that a leader does not do these things with his subordinates, especially and particularly in the military. I am a firm believer that a Captain (or any other leader) must have a degree of distance. Doesn’t mean he must be a jerk. Doesn’t mean people have to fear him. Doesn’t mean he must be a tyrant. But there should be a separation. One of the most fascinating aspects of naval command has been the role of ship’s captains. The buck seriously stopped with you in the past, often unfairly, but it is a hard job. The nature of the business.
2.) This is what having men and women fully integrated into crews on warships does. It destroys the ship, the mission, the crews, and the Captain. It was a mistake to turn the military into a jobs program. The entire chain of command from top to bottom is at fault, including every politician, bureaucrat and service member who advocated this.
3.) Same goes for open homosexuality in the military.
