I like having her on the stage. She mixes things up a little.

I’m not backing her for president, but she is a good debater. Certainly better than Kasich or half the others up there.

Seriously, why are they not allowing her to be there? Going by primary numbers she deserves it. And she’s way more intelligent than Kasich.

Got to agree with Fiorina 100% on this. Eight candidates are in the race (who got more than 12 votes in Iowa) and ABC decides that only seven of them get on the stage? And the one left off won more votes in Iowa than a couple and is polling higher in New Hampshire than one?

She has a right to be pissed.

Not a fan of Carly or ABC but she should sue. She has as much standing as some of the others. Claiming discrimination based on gender should get her case in front of a judge.

There is one good reason for ABC to do this, and it is to make the GOP look bad.

I’m not a supporter of hers, but if they’re going to let everyone else in, she deserves to be there, too.

If the rules for determining participation were established, published, and applied as written, she has no room to complain.

Debate rules aside, having Fiorina on that stage makes the GOP look a bit more diverse. And that is a good thing. ABC would rather not agree to anything that is good for the GOP.

Personally, I would just like a real debate with Trump, Cruz and Rubio. Time for all the others to go way. They are now just in it convention time, cabinet jobs or cable TV consultant contracts.

Just darn. She deserves a place there as much as any of the others in the bottom tier. Shame on them!

Easy answer: By keeping her out, it helps advance the Dems narrative that they are the party for women.

What was the criteria for making the cut to appear on stage?

I didn’t read the link.

In the past Republican debates, Ms, Carly Fiorina has focused on the scandals, the embarrassingly lack of any meaningful accomplishments of the Democrat establishment candidate Hillary Clinton.

The Democrats want to negate these statements of facts by a woman, against a woman. Ms. Fiorina trumps the Democrats/ABC/MSNBC/CBS/WASH POST playing the sexist/gender card.

The remaining Republican candidates should STOP tearing into each other, unite in this media play against a woman. Set forth and frame the argument how the media is waging a "war against women".

As we are now in the Primary Season, this is just a means to protect 'their' candidate Clinton.

As some many have noted these are not really debates, and at this conjuncture only Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson should be in this 'debate'. Otherwise allow Fiorina onstage as Kasich, Christie, Bush are now allowed.

Is there any more inarticulate, lacking outward manifestation of personality candidate than Kasich? The way Kasich grabs and holds the podium, I likened to elderly grocery shoppers bent over and resting their elbows on the shopping carts.

ABC knows that Carly would easily beat Hillary if Hillary can’t run as the only woman so they want to make it harder for Carly to get the Republican nomination. ABC wants Stepford women who will believe what Democrats say women are suppose to believe.
