Greta V. Susteren GOES OFF on Cruz Camp Dirty Tricks: "HORRIBLE! Appalling! SHAME on Cruz Campaign!"

Greta Van Susteren went off on the Cruz Campaign tonight over their handling of the Ben Carson Caucus scandal.

On Monday Dr. Ben Carson accused the Cruz camp of foul play in the Iowa Caucuses.
Carson said the Cruz camp told voters Carson was dropping out and to support Ted Cruz.
carson cruz dirty trick

Carson was right to be outraged...
The Cruz camp sent out messages and made calls to all precinct captains that Dr. Carson was dropping from the race.

On Thursday Greta Van Susteren reacted to the Cruz campaign scandal.
greta cruz rove

Greta Van Susteren: Horrible!... This is appalling!

For some reason to me, what happened that night was terrible. But then when they have time for reflection they make it even worse with this statement tonight. It's just appalling.

Karl Rove: They're circling the wagons. They know they made a big error. They're trying to change the subject and they're circling the wagons.

Greta Van Susteren: Then don't tell me that Senator Cruz apologized! Because all he does is try to make Carson wrong in this whole statement and Carson didn't do anything wrong. It's just completely ridiculous to say Senator Cruz apologized. They got caught. Now they got double caught. This is horrible and shame on the Cruz campaign!

Cruz didn’t do anything wrong.

CNN:..... Carson’s going home.
CRUZ:.... CNN said Carson’s going home.
CNN:..... Cruz is a liar and Carson lost votes because of it.
CRUZ:.... I just reported what CNN reported.
CNN: .....We did not say Carson’s going home, Cruz did and he’s a liar.

Ben:.....I quit.

All they can do is cry “squirrel”. The proof has been all over the internet and news shows, today, yet they refuse to see it...so, they deflect and/or try to diminish.

You have to be a moral and ethical con-servative while attempting to hoodwink folks as they’re in the process of voting?

Is this like a Holy tradition?

...they consider themselves perfect - just as does Ted.

Pride goes before a fall.

Even the great Ronaldus Magnus wasn't perfect. What is wrong with some people that they can't admit their guy is ,or has ever been anything but a sainted angel and Bringer of Light?

I've been watching both sides argue the records, past positions, personal histories, and current positions of the candidates, and there's one thing that stands out like a sore thumb: Cruz folks (by and large) simply reject any honest criticism of anything Ted has ever said or done.

I mean, it's like they're oblivious to facts, logic, or reason, where it comes to this one politician - despite the fact that he's violated simple articles of trust and ideology with conservatives, time and time again. Don't bother pointing them out to the faithful, you're just going to get a face full of spittle in return.

I actually started out as a Cruz guy, but Ted crossed the line with me one too many times (TPA, Corker, H1-B visas), and I finally had to admit to myself that he wasn't what he'd promoted himself to be.

Dunno....some folks seem to be quasi religious about the guy. I'm not.

Wrong.

Trump’s position paper clearly demands a hiatus in legal immigration until the employment & wage situation in the US normalizes. It also specifies steps to derail the cheap labor express. Further, the US has for a long time had limits on the numbers of legal immigrants, both numerical and otherwise. (For example, if DHS only has enough staff assigned to country X to process 5,000 spousal visas per year [it’s a lengthy, complicated process], then it doesn’t matter if the “legal” limit is 100,000.)

I’ve actually lived through that latter, and the then INS was even worse than IRS. (I know that does not seem possible.)

You have to put this whole thing in context. Carson needed to change his underwear and so he flew to Florida. They don’t sell his brand in Iowa. I don’t know how anyone could possibly conclude that Carson was suspending his campaign just because he left Iowa before the Caucus and flew to Florida to change his underwear. Everyone flies 2000 miles when they run out of underwear. I know I do.

Cruz apparently has known from the start that he has very little chance of even getting the nomination let alone winning the presidency. The donors who gave him a pot of cash to work with enabled him to hire the slickest team of political subterfuge experts in the business. These are super smart and experienced people who know what they have been able to get away with in the past. The dirty tricks are just getting started.

The only problem is that Ted has a reputation of being pretty slick to start with. I don’t think that this is really true. He is very smart and willing to do anything to win, but he is not smooth like Obama or Bill Clinton. I don’t think he can pull it off because he is just not likeable. I don’t think his team will be able to tune him up enough to make him into an electable candidate.

I actually have a brother-in-law who reminds me a great deal of Ted Cruz. He shouldn’t ever run for president either. It would also be a disaster.

You pretty much got crickets for an answer. There is no coherent defense for what Cruz did.

You misread my post, i believe the Trump supporters are the ones that won’t face reality!

Cruz did absolutely nothing wrong and everyone wants him punished for having the best and most responsive ground team in Iowa.

Trump didn’t pull dirty crap on caucus night when votes were being counted. Ted Cruz, the “principled” conservative did that.

Amazing.

I think Trump was stunned as how dirty it was. His after caucus speech was very nice. He congratulated Ted. He seemed very happy and so did his family. That was before he heard about Ted’s dirty tricks.

Donald Trump Speaks After Finishing 2nd in Iowa Caucuses: ‘We Will Win the Nomination’

I would have happily voted for Ted as the nominee because I actually thought he was principled. But now voting for Ted as the nominee will be just another “cream of the crap” vote for me.

I always apologize when shit happens....doesn’t mean it was my fault.

Miscommunication...Sen. Cruz did not apologize for the tweet, per se. He apologized for his staff failing to follow up on the story.

It was Carson’s fault first, then CNN.
